Came in for brunch - highly recommend everything we got. The garlic fries were excellent - super garlicky and with the perfect crisp. I ordered the chicken waffle, which was one of the best I’ve had. Try the Vietnamese coffee too!

Came for Saturday brunch, and they were packed! My friends and I ordered the Saigon steak, tom yum omelette, garlic noodles, and drunken noodles. I was surprised by how yummy the noodles were - the sauces for both were delicious! The tom yum omelette was unique, and the beef in the Saigon steak was tender. We also ordered the pink Dalgona coffee, strawberry matcha, and orange breeze which were all delicious. Solid spot for brunch and other asian fusion dishes.

The crispy chicken fried rice was really good. We also had Lychee mimosas, which tasted great!

My friend and I had a reservation for Sunday at 1:30pm and were seated outside since it was a nice day. I ordered the strawberry matcha latte and pad see ew with shrimp, and my friend ordered the hai nan chicken and iced butterfly lychee fizz. The drinks were delicious and vibrant. The pad see ew had a large portion and great flavor! Definitely want to come back and try their brunch offerings.

FAST!! Maybe to fast. I ordered an appetizer, thinking it would come out first but it came out with my hot meal at the same time. Like in 6 minutes! I wasn't prepared.😅

It was so much food. All very good. Wings with fries and noodles with beef.

Mr East is like a Mr. Feast! The food was delicious and service was excellent and fast paced. For those attending conferences at Moscone is this 100% worth a stop for lunch.

We had a lovely brunch at Mr. East Kitchen recently and were truly amazed by its well-seasoned and beautiful dishes that were meticulously crafted with authentic Thai and Vietnamese influences!

Every dish was equal parts comforting and refreshing, and we particularly enjoyed the flavorful Tom Yum omelet, as the strong spices of the Tom Yum paired nicely with the delicate omelette and crisp savory potatoes.

The drinks, such as the Strawberry Fizz and Butterfly Lychee Fizz also offered a refreshing fruity complement to the savoriness of the meals, and the sauces, such as the rich but delectable apple mustard and Thai Tea sauce melded beautifully with its offerings, from the delicately sweet pandan waffle to the
French toast!

It blends both American influence with diverse Asian flavors beautifully, all in a cozy, welcoming environment, and the friendly, warm service truly added a wonderful touch to our experience! Would definitely try again!

⭐ 15/10 — Mr. East Kitchen Delivers Big Flavor and Fast Service ⭐

I was in San Francisco this week for Dreamforce and needed a solid meal after a long day of sessions. I turned to Yelp to find a spot with great reviews, and that’s how I landed at Mr. East Kitchen. I’m so glad I did — they absolutely delivered.

My colleague ordered the Banh Mi sandwich, and I went with the Angus steak dish. He paired his meal with a bold Vietnamese coffee, while I opted for the lychee fizzy drink, which was light, refreshing, and the perfect contrast to the richness of the steak.

The food came out impressively fast — no long wait, just straight to the good part. Every bite was flavorful, balanced, and clearly made with care. The service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and the overall experience felt effortless in the best way.

If I could give this place a 15 out of 10, I would. Excellent food, great service, and quick turnaround — exactly what you want whether you’re in town for a conference or just craving a quality meal.

Highly recommend Mr. East Kitchen — it’s the kind of spot that quietly surprises you and makes you want to come back.

We came here for brunch and were absolutely blown away! Amy welcomed us with such warmth and energy — she really set the tone for a great experience. The food was fantastic: the Eggs Benedict were flavorful and filling, and the scrambled eggs were cooked perfectly. We finished with the mango sticky rice for dessert, which was amazing — the mango was perfectly ripe and the rice cooked to perfection. Highly recommend Mr. East for anyone looking for a delicious and memorable brunch!
