It's fine but the clientele talk so much. Impossible to enjoy the music and the vibe. It's like being in a high-school cafeteria. I actually spent most of my time in a washroom cubicle so I could listen properly. Embarrassing.

Thoroughly enjoyed the evening at Mr Tipples. It's an intimate venue seating maybe 50-60. Sight lines were great. The Brazilian jazz group played a 70 minute set while we dined on dim sum. Food was excellent. Total bill for two including tip and ticket /reservation was just under $200 and we ate a full meal (no alcohol).

We had a great experience at Mr. Tipple's, where we heard Liberty Ellman perform. It was an excellent performance, with really classy ambiance, and wonderful food and drinks. We would definitely go back.

I had a wonderful experience at Mr. Tipple's. The music was perfect. The waitstaff all extremely attentive and friendly. Drinks were made to taste and the bartender was pleasant to chat with. I'll definitely be going back and telling my friends. It was truly a wonderful evening.

Was very excited to sample their food through their restaurant offerings and now I know that they're calling is jazz, not food.

The roasted duck and pork belly in the bao was just salty. That's it. Not like they added too much salt to the seasonings, but that salt was the ONLY seasoning. And too much of it. Didn't get the nice textures from the meats, but there was some very crispy skin. It also would've been better if the bao had been heated up.

The braised short ribs clay pot also lacked flavor. The meat was prepared fairly well, but it was served on white rice from a clay pot with no sauce. So even though the meat was tender, the dish as a whole was dry.

The mochi waffle was interesting because it didn't have the signature chew of mochi - seemed like they may have mixed in some cornmeal or something to make it a little more crisp and crumbly. And, the earl gray and black sesame ice creams were more like sorbet (not as creamy as typical ice cream) and both had an unexpected sour tang to them.
