Such an incredible spot to get comfort Korean food. The staff is always so welcoming and kind and it’s a great meeting spot for all. Great shareable plates and great value!

I started eating immediately because I couldn’t wait! The pictures show the food missing a few bites! Haha! Delicious! The sautéed spicy pork belly was rich and perfect with rice. The cold noodles chewy and tasty. Old school decor felt just right. Nothing flashy. The food spoke for itself. I think the server is also the proprietor. Friendly and asked if we needed to replenish our banchai. I will be back.

I visited this place with two friends, and unfortunately, it was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. The server was incredibly rude. Here are some examples of what happened.
When our food arrived, she placed the dishes in front of my friends but set mine down at the far end of the table, completely out of my reach. One of my friends had to pass it to me.
Later, she asked my friend if she wanted a box for her leftovers but didn’t ask me even though I also had food left. When I tried to ask for a box, she initially turned away as I was speaking. Although she did eventually respond, she seemed visibly annoyed by the request. When she returned with the box, she handed it to me with her head completely turned away in the other direction to not look at me.
I will not be returning. No one deserves to be treated like this.

As a Korean born and raised in Seoul, I found the dishes of this place the most authentic Korean in SF. Other upscale Korean restaurants in SF like San Ho Won and Ban Sang tends to be either ridiculously overpriced or only Korean-inspired rather than being Korean. This place, though not necessarily fancy, reminds me of the Korean dishes as I know them.

Mainly I come here for the stir fried beef intestines with veggies. Everything else we tried was good as well but haven't found a place that does the plate listed above in South bay better.

Very good Korean barbecue. Banchan is on point, and people come here for the Naengmyon. Once seated, a server comes over to the table. They are expecting you to know what you are doing. That's okay, because the food is quite good. Highly recommended if you are in the area, but would make a special trip if craving Naengmyon

Muguboka is a small Korean restaurant, but the food was clean-tasting and truly delicious. It was the best restaurant I visited during my trip. Although we had to wait for a table because it was so crowded during lunchtime, it was definitely worth the wait. The food also came out quickly after we ordered. If you visit San Francisco, I highly recommend eating at this place.
Since it's in an area with a lot of tourists, it took some time to find parking.

Best casual Korean food in Sf. They gave us two extra dishes on the house which I was debating ordering earlier but didn’t. It’s like they knew!

Large menu with less common korean dishes like intestines. Mains come with lots of side dishes. The free soup they gave us had so much tofu, loved that. One critique is that the pork was artificially colored and tasted too sweet.
Our family visited the restaurant recently, hoping to enjoy a nice meal. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by extremely rude service.
As a family of four, including our newborn, we anticipated some understanding and warmth, but we were met with cold indifference from the staff. Requests for accommodations and assistance were dismissed rather harshly, which made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable.
The ambiance and food might have potential, but the service left a lasting negative impression. Dining out with a young child can be challenging enough without facing rudeness. We hope the management addresses these issues so future customers can have a more pleasant experience.
Sadly, we won’t be returning
