Love the meat options and assorted veggies too, and the DIY charcoal bbq is fun to keep yourself busy with.Great place to catch up with friends.Coupling it with soju, and you got yourself a winner. Must order - Papaya salad and the scallops. The sauces will keep you yearning for more.

I came here on a Tuesday night when the restaurant opened at 5. I recommend making a reservation because the restaurant filled up quickly at 6 and there is not a lot of tables. Very nice interior with Thai music playing in the background. My partner and I got the chef selection set. I think this is the most worth because it offers a lot of variety with meats, seafood, and vegetables. Everything was fresh and I especially loved the meats because it was so tender! The sauces they offered took the food to another level. You should absolutely try all of them; my favorite was the tamarind sauce. Highly recommend ordering the garlic fried rice as your side too. Since it is hotpot and bbq, the waitress recommended us that we cook the meat over the charcoal and the veggies be cooked in the broth. However, I thought cooking some of the meats in the broth made it more flavorful. The broth is a light pork based broth. Overall a delicious and unique experience because this is my first time trying Thai bbq/hotpot. Service was terrific as well!

Very rare to have this style of Thai BBQ (Mu Kratha) in America, even in California. It's open late, it's a good value with friends, and the bone broths here are even tastier (and maybe higher quality ingredients?) than I've had in Bangkok! What's not to love?

Made a reservation for 5:30 on a Sunday. Wasn't super crowded. The place has tons of seating and has a super cutely decorated interior. Unfortunately our table was pretty small, and the bar stools made it so we had to carry our bags the whole time. The staff were super nice and got right to helping us order since we have never tried Thai bbq before. We opted for the chef's special for 2 people which came with various meats, veggies, and two carbs. For our carbs we chose udon and garlic fried rice (must get!). I got a little scared because all the meat (including chicken) got put on the same plate. The chicken did have its own little bowl, but it gets dicey with the grill size and one set of tongs per person. For appetizers who chose yum mama (noodle salad with mama noodles, super yummy but not a huge portion) and the raw marinated salmon (also super yummy but we found a bone so be careful!). They did forget our salmon and fried rice, but it came out shortly after a reminder. The sauces they give you with the meal are AMAZING! My favorite was the spicy, sour green sauce. As for the grill itself - it's a small grill in the middle of an outer circle of broth. The grill was honestly not the easiest to use since a lot of the seafood pieces that we were trying to grill kept falling into the broth. The grill also got burnt quickly but they didn't change it. The broth doesn't get flavorful until quite later in the meal when meat drippings have gotten in to it. Overall, not mind blowing food imo, but a cool experience that I am glad I got to try at least once! We did end up smelling entirely like charcoal afterwards haha. Spent about $40 per person for three people. Parking is pretty easy and the free Thai tea at check-in is nice!

No it’s not the same as all the other hotpot places in SF. It’s definitely worth a try.Great new hotpot/grill spot that uses real charcoal grills. Fun atmosphere thats fitting of fun vibrancy Thailand has to offer. Street style stools, pop art, neon lights and thai flare really add to the uniqueness of this style of hot pot.

I came here right when it opened for lunch, and it was dead. That should have been my sign not to eat here, but I did it anyway. I opted for the two- person hot pot and bbq to eat with my husband. Our other friend ordered the chef's selection for hot pot and bbq. This selection includes shellfish, which I'm allergic to. Because of this, I requested that his hot pot be placed in another hole in the table, which the server did. However, I also wanted larb woonsen for my appetizer, which comes with pork, noodles, and sausage. But when it came out, there were 2 big pieces of shrimp on it. I was pretty shocked and even told the waitress of my allergy. But she claimed I didn't, and even if I didn't, there was no mention of shrimp in the larb woonsen! So she brings out another larb, but when the bill came, she charged me for both. Very inconsiderate waitress and cheap business practices. I have had way better hot pot and bbq at other places, and I will not be back. The vegetables were so basic, and the cuts of meat were cheap.

Great service. The Papaya Salad was very very good! Also had the Thai version of Salmon Sashimi, It was marinating in their special sauce topped with garlic and fresh Thai chillis. Ordered their grilled intestine, but I thought it was over priced. But over all, the experience and service made this a 5 star trip! Everything was great except for their grilled intestines.Parking: Typical downtown SF parking, GOOD LUCK!

I came here with a group of 6 people under a reservation for dinner on President's Day (a holiday). We decided to get 2 CYO set large and 1 beef lover set. We all checked into Yelp for free Thai iced tea. The staff was super helpful in helping us choose what to order, and they were extremely nice. They even cooked some of the meat for us and gave us extra Thai iced tea for free. It was overall a fun, enjoyable, and unique dining experience. I would recommend this restaurant especially for bigger parties as they are extremely accommodating and genuinely want you to have the best experience here. Parking is street parking, but it was not difficult to find street parking at all. Can't wait to come back here again!

The food here is delicious! I came here with some friends and we ordered two of the large sets and a meat set. The employees here are incredibly nice, and made us feel very at home. The meat is so flavorful, and overall eating here is a great experience, especially if you come with a large group. I cannot recommend this place enough! I will definitely be coming back in the near future.

Came here because I never had Thai bbq or hot pot before and it did not disappoint! I shared the large chef selection set which included bacon, liver, pork belly, sausage, squid, shrimp, scallop, fish tofu, fish with roe, pork shoulder, chicken and ribeye. You also get to choose 2 carbs which we got udon and garlic fried rice. My favorite meat was surprisingly the chicken, and of course the scallops but they were honestly all good!! The quality was extremely fresh and tasted really good on it's own but better with the green seafood sauce. Careful because it is pretty spicy, like habanero level. Don't forget to drink the broth afterwards as all of the grilled meat juices have seeped into it, giving it more flavor in the end. On a side note, they give you an egg with the set. You're supposed to crack the egg on top of the raw meat before you cook it which is the Thai style.

my first time having thai charcoal grill and hotpot, the experience was super unique and enjoyable! we went on a weekday night so there was no wait at all and servers were very attentive and even helped us cook. we got the chef's selection set and an extra order of brisket and ribeye. portions didn't look like a lot, but were surprisingly filling and had good variety. hotpot broth was so hearty from the meat juices. overall would come back!

Really tasty meal, high quality meats and delicious sauces, however the portions are on the smaller size All the meats were really good, favorites were the pork shoulder and beef ribeye (?) Chefs platter for 2 came with the meats (chicken, pork shoulder, pork belly, pork liver, beef ribeye, shrimp, squid, scallop, crab stick, sausage, and fish ball) + veg (egg, cabbage, bok choy) pictured plus two carbs (we got instant noodles and garlic fried rice. We also ordered the papaya salad with fermented crab which was really tasty with strong and punchy flavors. Haven't had Thai bbq before so the grill + soup combo in this way was unique and enjoyable. Staff was also very attentive and friendly. Would recommend trying with friends!
