It's inside a big building complex so best to call for them to meet u at the front door to grab your food!

I was only in San Francisco for 24 hours and craving the Assam Laksa, but when I went there I couldn’t find anything, just an industrial warehouse district, so I’m assuming no dine in (on Google it said dine in). They did not answer the phone so I never got any Malaysian food.

This place is actually a scam. I should've known when the pickup instructions to enter the building and find the kitchen ended with "Good luck!" As in, good luck getting your food that you paid for, because we ain't responsible for that shit. I placed an order for pickup on DoorDash and got there right on time. I dialed the code to be let into the building and there was no response. Tried again, nothing. Then I called the phone number provided on DoorDash and a woman picked up, but before I could even explain what was happening, she said she was driving and hung up. I called back, and managed to get a few words in about how I was waiting at the pickup spot and couldn't get a hold of anyone. She said she never received my order but she'd call the kitchen then call me right back. I decided to hang around for a few minutes just in case they actually did make my food and just didn't hear the bell. I don't know why I was optimistic. I usually am not. Minutes later, a woman walks up to the building and asks if I need to get inside. From her voice I could tell it was the owner I was just on the phone with. And no, she was not planning to call me back after all. She seemed very surprised I was even there, and reiterated that they never received the order despite me having a confirmation and already paying for it. I mean ok, it's certainly possible that this was a DoorDash issue (even though they hire hella engineers to automate this so I find it hard to believe it wasn't instead a human error). But even so, she didn't so much as provide an apology for the confusion or offer to make it now, or simply invite me to come back next time. Her ass really just stood there and left me hanging. So I said forget it, and I left. Do they pull this kinda shit often? They presumably still got paid for my order and never had to fork up the food so... I sadly won't be eating laksa for dinner as planned. But I do have the instant noodle version and I think that'll actually be better than ever having to interact with this scam business again.

Canceled an order after 30 mins with no warning and no apologies. The sort of local business one should not be supporting. Don’t waste your time or money here.

As a Malaysian, I'm always excited to see more of the food I grew up eating in SF. First time trying out M & Y - unfortunately the nasi lemak is a real disappointment. No Ikan bilis, rice overcooked with no pandan flavor, sambal was not spicy & cucumber didn't seem fresh. Hopefully the quality improves but I don't think I'll be trying again.

Good food. Highly recommended! They have something flavors I'm not familiar with, but that I'd gladly eat again. The portion sizes were fine too.

I didn't know they have kids portions for adults. Ordered Nasi lemak and percik chicken on fastly. My iPhone 10 is bigger than thier portion.
