Great sushi at a reasonable price in Hayes Valley. Service was great - special shoutout to Uncle Ben!
Two friends from out of town were visiting and wanted some west coast sushi! This place was so perfect. Quiet, cozy vibe on the inside with beautiful wooden tables. The sushi was incredible- two of us got the omakase and two of us got custom rolls. Both were so good and we ended up ordering more tuna/salmon belly for the table. Ben our server was hilarious and well. 10/10. We will be back!
This's below average restaurant, the value for money is very low , portions are very small and the ambient needs a lot of improvements
What a treasure, excellent fresh sashimi and special rolls. Had their sake flight and soft shell crab roll. Amazing food. Great service and loved the quiet ambience... Like a trip to Japan.
Good quality food overall, I liked the Karage.
Excellent food, lively atmosphere. Reservation recommended.
Vegetarian options: Gyoza dumplings are delicious!!

This is the best sushi experience in SF! The fish was excellent, the atmosphere was cozy and sophisticated, and the staff offered excellent service and friendly conversation. There's no doubt I will be returning. Also, the oysters were amazing.

I went and tried this place. I just did a walk-in and sat at the counter so I could watch. Fish was really fresh and tasted amazing. It wasn't that bad. I spent $60 with tips. I will definitely be going back. I saw them make a roll that I have to go back and try.

We had the 20 piece sashimi tasting, which was beautifully presented, fresh and delicious. Price very reasonable, given the high quality. Next time when we have more time we would definitely try the omakase dinner! This was a very pleasant and relaxed place to dine before walking to the performing arts area, so we'll definitely return.
This is one of our favorite places to eat before going to the opera or symphony. Quiet, cozy atmosphere, top-notch sushi and service. This past week we enjoyed the omakase menu - so beautifully prepared and served - and as always appreciated the attentive and cheerful service from Benjamin.
One of the most underrated and delicious Japanese spots in the city. The fish is fresh and so well prepared. The staff is very friendly and on top of what you need - they even remember when local shows are happening so they know to check in and be prompt with the check if need be. But come here for the fish, not the great service.
