I discovered this place while walking around and exploring the Chinatown area. I’ve been here three times in the last two weeks. Many different options to choose from and everything has been great so far. My new go to place. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed.

We hadn't eaten so well and so cheaply in the USA for a long time. A very nice and very funny waitress who had a lot to say about broccoli ?.
Great potstickers!
In short...we're going there again today!

This is classic, old school, Chinatown dining. A time capsule. You can imagine dock workers dropping in for a hearty bite in the postwar era. It's neither authentic Chinese nor American and its recipes pre-date fussy, farm-to-table cuisine. It's its own thing.

The food is large and tastes good. A set menu is only 15$. It’s worth visiting again

8-21-2024, Wednesday: The food was decent, and the service could have been better. We ordered the beef and scramble eggs and roast pork with curry. Both meals can with a small bowl of house special soup, one potsticker, and a soda in a can.

Curry tripe: 1/5
$16 in July 2024 for no rice a la carte order
Curry sauce was a bland flour paste, too oily with zero flavor 3/5
I thought it was going to be a plate of tripe, but it was more vegetables than tripe

Free pot sticker tasted much better 5/5
Free bean soup: 5/5
Free tea didnt have any flavor, was like drinking plain hot water 2/5

My family and I were looking for something to eat for dinner, when we suddenly discovered what almost seemed to be (for lack of a better word) a hole in the wall. We could've never expected the warm atmosphere, the friendly service, and the five star worthy food. I almost got a bit sentimental for it reminded me so much of my home back in China and my lao laos (Chinese word for your maternal grandmother). All in all, they were all very nice.

Good food. Slow service but probably due to order. Soy sauce was surprisingly dark.

Delicious food! It’s a small restaurant, six tables in all, but has a calm atmosphere. Plus, they take credit cards (for orders over $20) which is a bonus!

Wheelchair accessibility: There is one step at the entrance. It may be a little tall for a wheelchair user to lift themselves, but with a companion it would be very easy. The door is plenty wide.

So awesome. Great hearty food with an awesome lady serving us at affordable prices!

Food comes with hot tea, soup, and also pot stickers (which we rejected cos we don't take meat).

The unagi was good and a really thick big piece. Better than what you could get at Japanese restaurants.

For the pepper fish rice, I also added an egg.

After which, the lady offered us ice cream on the house! And she further served the orange to my friend who didn't want the ice cream.

Delicious food. Don’t expect a fancy restaurant, this is an unpretentious place where you get an authentic, homemade meal experience. We got the roast pork and it was amazing. I’m still thinking about it. Probably one of the best Chinese meals I’ve had in my life. Don’t overdo it when ordering though. Portions are very generous. The pork came with a delicious gravy, steamed rice and cabbage, soup, 2 dumplings, and hot tea. The lady serving us was really nice, good-hearted, and attentive. Thank you ??
