Love their mochi here and would always get it every time in Chinatown, but just found this plastic strip in the mochi. Pretty gross and disappointing, flagging for better QA, if they see this.

It’s a grab-and-go spot where freshly made items are constantly replenished—and they do go quickly! It has a bit of an “if you know, you know” vibe, but the staff speaks English and is helpful if you have questions. For vegetarians, there are options like soy sauce noodles, spring rolls, braised tofu, and desserts like red bean pancakes. If you eat eggs, the custard version is also worth trying. The green pepper stuffed with shrimp comes in both a regular and a spicier jalapeño version. Just note—it’s cash only!.

Nice economy rice from this restaurant. Their braised chicken feet were so nice until we brought 3x in two days. Staff are generally friendly. They have three tables for dine-in, in total probably only can accommodate 6 persons. I like their Chinese snacks too such as bun, egg tart, etc.

I was searching for the fried taro dim sum dumplings at multiple dim sum shops on Stockton. This shop had a pre-made serving of 3 pieces on display.
Yes, it was cold (probably made that morning?). However, it was exactly what I was looking for!

I'll have to visit another time to try a few other items.

Been here at least several times and no attitude yet. They try to be helpful. Your favorite things could sell out near the end of the day. They sell single serving rice pudding "cake" made with brown sugar. Not many places make this item.

This is the first time I came to New Moon Restaurant. I’m very impressed with the services, the quality of the food and the price is the cheapest around the area. This owner’s wife is very honest and friendly. I accidentally gave her too much money and she gave it back to me. Moving forward, I will always come back to this restaurant.

Some of the best tasting to-go dim sum you can find in Chinatown. A very good selection of dim sum items and hot food as well. Staff are friendly and efficient.

Authentic very basic/low rent Chinese dimsum, not the best taste but not bad too.
