(Reposting my Yelp review)
Hi everyone,
Royal Bakery was owned by my grandpa, Isaac Monroy, for several decades. He was well known, respected, and loved in the community.
Unfortunately, he passed away just 3 days after his 80th birthday, on September 30th of this year.
My grandpa loved nothing more than providing his delicious homemade treats and bread to his loyal customers. If you happen to see this review and are able to, please swing by and try something out! My family could use as much support as possible right now, and my grandpa's only wish was to continue the legacy of his prized bakery forever.
Thank you to the thousands of customers who've enjoyed my grandpa Isaac's company and baking over the years. He deeply loved every one of you, and this legacy wouldn't be possible with you all.

I purchased one of their cakes from a local grocery store... It was red velvet , I must say the cake looked very yummy and I couldn't wait to get home . to my surprise when I cut into the cake instead of tasting red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting I was eating red velvet cake with a vanilla buttercream frosting , which gave the cake an odd taste..... Word to the wise if you going to make a red velvet cake and you're not going to put cream cheese frosting on it you come out better not making it at all !

DO NOT support this bakery! Not only has it gone to s*#!, one of their (very well fed and drunken) family members steals from the neighborhood Safeway almost daily including dog food for the owners little dogs that run around their store like rats. They have no shame. Close your accounts and don't support.
The bakery seems to be struggling. These days, it seems to be a disorganized store with poor systems that sells stale bread.
Great San Francisco sourdough bread and more. Family owned and operated, low tech, cash only.

Tested peanut butter cookies, fresh and yummy... HOWEVER, upon purchasing RIGHT AFTER, the packaged cookies were NOT fresh, stale. Unfortunately, had already left store when opened and 'tried'to eat.
They’re bread. The long baguettes as well as their sourdough bread for sandwiches is the best.

Absolutely the BEST bread in the City! Which pretty much makes it the best bread ANYWHERE!
