The place is quite basic, seems popular with locals: when we were eating, we saw people in PJ'S waiting. We ordered a bagel and coffee. Coffee was strong and hot, but I wonder since when drip coffee charges $5.5 with no refills. Bagel was not New York City level taste at all. We liked the waiters/cashiers: they seem chill, not stressed or disgruntled.

We walked over Newkirk's for sandwiches from Zuckerpunk's SF General Hospital where we were visiting our pal, good old Toby Sticklikker..he just got the final Wing Ding done to his Thingamabob to bring him inline with his inner self...The name changed from Toby to Tami but she'll always be Toby to the old Seaside gang!
