Usually not a long line or too crowded. You order at the front and they bring you your food and it's not too long. The food tastes great. Overall decent pricing for quantity and decent quality.

Will fill the crave if you have one. I've come here twice now usually with friends!

I've had the chicken katsu curry twice, here. Once, it was to eat there with my son, and the other was to get takeout of the same item. I appreciate that when I ordered the dish takeout, that it had the curry and rice on the bottom section, and the fried chicken was in a separate compartment above, so that it didn't get soggy on the way home. I thought it tasted great both times. I was hoping to post a photo of the menu, but given that the only menus they have are taped to the counter, I wasn't able to take a proper picture of a menu.

Overall a fantastic experience. I found it through United’s MilagePlus Dining, and I loved it. Better than some curries I’ve had in Japan.

Quick, delicious. Curry is on the peppery side, good light breading for their fried items. Medium priced.

Head and shoulders above your garden variety San Francisco Japanese restaurant. Efficient, clean, and reliably tasty.

If you're looking for a quick lunch or bite to eat and crave tonkatsu curry, this place may hit the spot. Tonkatsu was crispy and I thought the curry was decent. Good portion.

Food was great! But gluten free item (chicken donburi) was not gluten free and as a Celiac I got sick from the food 😞

Came here after researching options that were similar to a chain in LA that I enjoyed that’s unfortunately not in in Northern California - overall I’d say for the price point it’s pretty good. The curry isn’t spicy or sweet as I’m used to, but definitely more savory. The consistency of the curry was good (not watery) The pork katsu was cooked well and was crunchy! I’d say I’d probably like it more if I didn’t have the expectations from others saying it’s similar, though it was for sure worth the try.

The Chu Hi is great! I’ve only ever seen the ones in grocery stores that I found I don’t like that much, though the version they carry is very refreshing.

Curry itself was nice, and the cashier was very friendly. However, the pork katsu was pretty bad. The meat quantity was extremely small, the katsu size looked average because the outer breading was really thick. The breading should be thin and crispy, and the breading here was exactly what a breading shouldn't be. I felt very disappointed at my experience here, as this curry place gave a cozy vibe, and they provided many Japanese drinks options, and I really wanted to like this cafe.

For San Francisco Japanese food standard I would say it’s not bad. The sandwich was delicious compared to the curry, the curry sauce is on mild spicy side. It taste good but a bit too gooey

Listen up, my fabulous foodie friends! Your girl just found the most sickening Japanese curry spot in San Francisco that had me gagging - in the best way possible! Nippon Curry is serving up that award-winning Hinoya curry that's thicker than my false lashes and more flavorful than the backstage drama at a drag brunch!

The menu is perfectly curated, darling - none of that "too many options" nonsense that gives me decision anxiety before a costume change. And the service? Efficient and fierce, just how I like my quick-change assistants! You order at the counter, and honey, there's always a clean table waiting for you like a fresh powder puff.

Let me tell you about these lewks I ordered! First up, that Aji Fry Curry is giving crispy fish ELEGANZA, hunty! Served on a bed of rice pearls with curry sauce flowing like liquid gold - it's a moment! And that tartar sauce packet? Well, she's a bit basic, but she does her job, mama!

Then we have the Chicken Katsu Curry serving pure excellence! That curry sauce is spreading across the plate like gossip at a drag brunch - thick, rich, and honey, it's spilling ALL the tea! The breading on these cutlets? Crispy enough to rival the crunch of my highest heels on a marble floor!

The sauce? Baby, it's working harder than my waist cincher! Rich and smooth like my favorite silk gown, this curry is giving everything it needs to give! The whole experience is serving Japanese realness with NHK World videos playing in the background - it's like being transported to Tokyo without having to pack my six suitcases of wigs!

This curry palace is OPEN for business, darling, and you better work your way over there, because this is where the curry queens reign supreme! And that's the tea, no shade, all SLAY! 💃✨

Amazing Japanese curry, I got the fried oysters on top. Only problem was no napkins or utensils in the togo bag
