Met a woman here 10 years ago that turned out to be my wife. You might get lucky too if you stop by.

Tasty coffee and very good breakfast!
I decided to randomly stop here for a glass of wine before meeting my friends for dinner and was not disappointed! The wine options they provided showcased a variety of styles and regions, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was impeccable! Omeed and Amanda were patient, knowledgeable, friendly, and very accommodating. I will definitely return.

Great local spot. Owner and all the staff are so friendly and warm. Perfect spot to work at or read during the day with a coffee and even better vibes at night when it turns into a wine bar. Plus pretty inexpensive with generous pours

Charming spot at 1500 Haye with the iconic cable car passing by! This charming corner spot offers exceptional coffee and a thoughtfully curated wine selection. The cozy ambiance is perfect for a quiet morning or an evening with friends. Great service and delicious small bites make it a must-visit. Highly recommend!
Best local coffee shop and wine bar! Love the salmon toast for breakfast and a latte made by their wonderful barista. Not to mention the great wine, tasty snacks, and immaculate vibes in the evening.. Tommy is the best and Nook is a Nob Hill gem!!!

I had a terrible experience at this place. Waiting for the Cable Car on that street we decided to have a coffee at Nook and go to the restroom. While we were ordering our drinks they informed us that they had no restroom available and we decided to look for another place. A couple of minutes later one of their employees came out to sadly tell us that they did have a restroom but that the person who served us did not want us to use it. I don't know the reasons that led to that attitude but it was extremely offensive.

Can't recommend Nook enough. I've been for coffee and the breakfast sandwich in the morning and wine flights in the evening, and you can't go wrong. Tommy, Santiago, and the entire staff are always super friendly and provide the best service. Deserves more than 5 stars.

I recently moved to the neighborhood and Nook has quickly become my favorite cafe. Tommy, the owner, is always so friendly and creates a great atmosphere. It’s a cafe/coffee shop by day and transitions into a wine bar at night with some great deals on wine flights. He has a very cute dog that is incredibly friendly and rarely comes around Nook, but when she does he keeps her separate from the kitchen and any food. The place is clean and great vibes, I cannot recommend enough!
