I have been here multiple times, usually when I am craving for some sushi or when I am in the area and want to get something different. This place is a plus in the neighborhood, because there are not many sushi spots within the district. The staffs here are very welcoming, well trained and understanding where I never had an issue in any of my visits. Their menu consists of Japanese appetizers, sushi rolls, specialty rolls, sashimi, dinner sets, desserts, etc. For dine in, you can choose booth seating, bar counter or regular table seating. Everything is made to order which is just how I like it and I never mind the wait since I am a very patient person. I highly recommend this place to all sushi enthusiasts, to anyone looking for a laid back spot or if you just happen to be within the area. I definitely will be back to tryout the other delicious options they have to offer.

Came to celebrate a family baby shower. We ordered to share: chicken karage salad and gyoza. We ordered: Chasu Ramen, Chasu Wonton Ramen, bento box: salmon and beef teriyaki and chicken teriyaki and tempura. Everything was good. Our new favorite family gathering. Especially since the service was awesome for us considering we were such a large group.

1-14:2025: Service was mediocre at best. Not attentive and no people skills.
1-17-2025: We tried again on Friday night. The food is good, the service was a little better with a different staffing.

Neighborhood mom n pop restaurant that I've frequented for decades, however, on this occasion the service and freshness of sashimi were both lacking. Sadly, this might be my last time eating here.

This unassuming place is one of those neighborhood gems in the outer Sunset District.
Noriega Teriyaki House is that intersection of good food and reasonable pricing. Japanese food is notoriously pricey and often the spendy nature of it isn't commensurate to what you get, but whatever floats your boat.
The decor is nice, but it is looking a bit tired and dated, not bad though. The food is always good in the dozens of times I've been, so there's consistently happening there. The sushi rolls are good value and their selection is respectable.
I find the best time to go there is for lunch or in the afternoon, the food comes quickly and it's easy to get a table.

The staff here is kind and attentive. The portions are huge be prepared to take food home if you get a combo. The quality is very good so it’s kind of an amazing value

Food was good. Service was good. Got a bunch of rolls and the sushi tray. I gotta mark it down a star cause all the menus at our table smelled like old rags.

Such a random choice delightful surprise yummer meal!! We went to Stern Grove for a concert and then found ourselves in the Sunset hungry for ramen. This little happy and mellow spot was nearby so we gave it a try. The gyoza was crispy tasty and the maguro sushi spot on. The staff were very descriptive and helpful with our menu questions. I went out on a limb and ordered the seafood soup with mixed veggies glass noodles in a clear broth which was great. My partner got the chausu wonton ramen. I loved that as well. We will certainly be back and highly recommend. The table next to us was enjoying some sort of tempura and an assortment of drool worthy sushi rolls, we almost asked them for a taste! (haha just kidding)

Had dinner with good friends at Noriega Teriyaki House. I have never been disappointed with the food, customer service and atmosphere at this restaurant. Last night continued that trend. The food was delicious! The Host and Hostess are always so welcoming as well as the staff.
