Tasty mexican food in North Beach.It was pretty early - like 5:30 pm - and the place was empty, so the orders delivery was fast. We had a burrito (big!) and some tacos with carne asada (portion of three), a cheese enchilada and tacos with guacamole. Everything was really tasty, maybe a little hard to digest (more than other mexican experiences) but I have to say I was really hungry and I ate fast.This food plus two margaritas was like 72$ without tip and I think it’s pretty expensive (it was the most expensive dinner in a almost two weeks trip in and around San Francisco so I think it’s something worth to say). Not so happy with that.Other things: the neighborhood is pretty great, the location is just okay (it doesn’t recall authenticity but it looks more like a franchise fast food); service is a bit cold but kind so nothing to whine about (it’s just an observation).So yeah if you’re hungry, price it’s not a problem and you aren’t looking for a “traditional” kind of thing, this is the place!

Really happy we discovered the North Beach Cantina on a very competitive block. Their taco Tuesday is one of the better deals we've found. We each got 3 vegetarian tacos for $7. She loved hers, and the impossible chorizo I had was better than expected. This place has good music and vibes and the staff is awesome. There will be many taco Tuesdays for us I expect.Vegetarian options: Good place for vege tacos.
I was pretty triggered when I saw the 44 smacker receipt print out for two tacos with a nacho side and some hydration. As the food came in I warmed up - handsome portions. It's more of a fun place to grab drinks and nibbles, and tbf 9000 microdollars for that size of lager isn't too shabby at all.

I ordered 3 fish tacos to go... got home got 3 beef tacos.. I don’t eat beef.. they are very tiny tacos.. my husband had a quesadilla also very small.. still hungry he’ll eat the beef tacos.. they told me to return it… not walking back out in the rain also don’t trust any restaurant..returning food for exchange.. take the risk they’ll spit in it..??

Ah finally made it back after a year from my Yelp Elite event for Latin month! I had take a vow to must come back after being introduced to this new restaurant that opened during the pandemic and still has been thriving ever since. The owner had to change her concept from a catering company to a restaurant instead and apparently it was the correct move. I remember that their unique and strong margaritas were just out of this world with the yummy mango Margarita and refreshing cucumber. I was scared to try the spicy ones. Anyway it was great to come to restaurants at the first of the new year because it wasn't busy as I was the only patron on Friday for Happy hour and got $2 off my mango margarita. Lovely and friendly staff as I first remembered. The reason for my visit was to get the Baja fish tacos that I wasn't able to try the first time around and boy was it very satisfying to finally eat it now! As I paused for my meal at the bartender at the bar, I was Yelp checking in and found that if I did a Yelp check in I could get a free dessert of the yummy MEXICAN POT DE CRÈME which is Chocolate pot de crème with cinnamon, a touch of cayenne pepper and fresh whip cream. I was excited as I was able to use this. :) I had this last time and I just couldn't stop eating the samples of this delicious and delectable smooth, chocolate dessert which was perfect to end the very fulfilling meal with. The bartender had asked me do I want the salmon or white fish taco? I said there is salmon taco too?! Well I will just have to come back yet again to try the salmon taco then! My heart was set for the fried White fish taco. When it arrived it came with guacamole and a mild sauce which I used both. I was so full. The kitchen was very observant and delivered my dessert in good timing as I finished up my tacos. I told them everything was tasty! Definitely I will return again and will have this place always booked marked for excellent margaritas and must come on Tacos Tuesday! Great food quality drinks and nice staff.

This "cantina" is newer. I decided to stop by. It seemed light-hearted enough. I got a burrito that I thought would have fries but it didn't. I ate half and Yelp offer was a chocolate mousse. It was a snack but not a dinner. Same thing. Not sure how this works. Same things different buildings and owners. People that don't talk to u.
