I've been coming here for years. I love introducing my friends and family to this wonderful restaurant. I did not know they have a daily lunch buffet. That was so wonderful! My husband and I met my friend from out of town here and we all enjoyed our meals. The lunch buffet had so many excellent options. I'm vegetarian and all my favorites were there which made me so happy. It's such a convenient location, too. One and a half block walk from the Montgomery station for Muni or Bart.  The staff are wonderful and, I'm North Indian, and the food is authentic. I highly recommend it. It's also great for large groups attending conventions and conferences nearby.

Last night at 10 pm my wife and I came here for dinner. I have been here a couple of times before. Last night the food was average. My gulsi was bad. Nothing special. When it was our turn to pay the bill, I was surprised that both the waiter and the cook were asking us for cash. They said that the machine was broken. My wife is pregnant. They also did not understand this condition. I had to go to the ATM to get cash. I have no problem giving cash. But the thing to understand is that they had placed a pick order about two minutes before our bill, which was paid from their credit card. I just want to say that if you have cash, then come here. There is no need to come here otherwise. The waiter and cook forced us to pay cash. I will never come here again. This was my last time. It was a big mistake for me to come here to eat. very bad weekend in my life thanks u

My mom and I visit San Francisco once a year and we love Indian food. This is the first Indian restaurant we have found that we truly love. We ordered the daal, chicken tikka masala, and vegetable samosas. Everything was incredible, perfect portions and robust flavors. Usually whenever I order “spicy” restaurants will assume I cannot handle it and bring a dish medium at the hottest. However, North India ACTUALLY listened to my request and made sure it was spicy. Excellent food, excellent service. Will definitely be returning!

What a wonderful service. Mahaveer Singh is such a nice guy, offered us complimentary stuff. Can’t stop coming back. Got paneer Bhurji and naan for lunch and the quantity was amazingly well so came back for it at dinner and the next day.

Awful food, awful service. The masala tasted wrong, the naan was old, the salmon looked like a victim of a nuclear attack. One of the waiters was so rude; it felt like he really hated being there (and i dont blame him, i did too). I took a photo as crime evidence
