Nice outdoor seating area perfect for a sunny day. Food was good. We had lunch and dined on shrimp skewers and lamb pattie appetizers. The 9oz glass of wine was pricey at $23. Entrees were a good size and tasty. It was a solid meal and we would return. Service was a little slow at the beginning. Overall a good experience.

On a normal San Francisco day, the restaurant can be a little cold so make sure you're not going in a tank top on a beautiful sunny day. The restaurant is fine and sitting outside is lovely as well. Food is amazing. And the staff is very attentive.

I love Novy. It is one of my regular go to restaurants and will remain as such. My friend and I sat at a high-top table last night, which I prefer, as those tables are in between the kitchen and the tables at the sidewalk windows, which are closer together and slightly less private. We started with the Brussels sprouts appetizer which is bursting with flavor and so delicious. I had the sangria to drink which I feel is the best glass of sangria in San Francisco. I had the Armenian pasta for my entree, which has luscious eggplant and perfect spiciness, and my friend had moussaka which is the perfect Greek dish served with a salad. We were both delighted. We then finished with the bread pudding dessert, slathered in yummy caramel sauce and accompanied by vanilla ice cream to delight the palette. I've always had great meals at Novy. I truly feel you can't go wrong there!

As our server pointed out (good naturedly), we are one of the few “locals” (walking distance) folks who haven't dined at Novy. She was right to observe that “that's gonna change.” We enjoyed Greek wine (both red and white), gyros, moussaka, shrimp, and salad. All were well prepared and delicious. There's a family restaurant vibe (for a 6:30 seating), which goes well with the neighborhood restaurant feeling. We left well-fed and happy.

Food overall was ok. The moussaka was good although some in our party did not care for the lamb gyro (not enough seasonings) or the brussel sprouts (too salty). The red Sangria was good but expensive at $45 a carafe. The staff was attentive.

Had such a great dinner at NOVY in Noe Valley! The service was excellent — friendly, fast, and super attentive even though the place was packed (pro tip: make a reservation, it gets busy!). We started with the hummus and Brussels sprouts, both fresh and full of flavor. The shrimp skewers and shrimp pasta were perfectly cooked and delicious. Great wine selection too — we enjoyed both a glass of wine and some rosé with our meal.

The pasta was delicious but there were too much kale in it. Overall, i would come back and try different options in the menu
