Good experience, place has a good vibe, food service all great. Chicken, cottage pie and fish tacos all very tasty. Going to try the pork chop next time. All the folks that work there seem to be happy and work toy!

Mushy peas! O'Brien's Irish Pub has mushy peas with their fish & chips $22. Some people won't like them, but I do. It reminds me of my work trip to London years ago. They taste like regular peas but with a mashed potatoes texture with a hint of sweetness. Beautiful to look at. The fish & chips themselves were really good. Perfectly cooked, nice textured fish and a light crispy batter. The chips (fries) weren't soggy and were on the thin side. The seafood chowder $15 was delicious. It was creamy and served with bread. There were so many pieces of clams and fish in the soup.
Service was excellent. The restaurant was about half full on a Wednesday night. It was more of an older crowd, you know, people with gray hair. It was nice to have cloth napkins while eating at a bar. That is rare. It felt upscale with the dark wood paneling. The only thing missing is the Irish accents. Dia dhuit!

TLDR: good food and good happy hour prices
We were able to get a table to watch the game and had a lot of good food. My favorite were the fish tacos and the dessert. My friends had the corned beef and fish and chips and they were massive portions as well as tasty. All in all, would definitely come back

This was our second time coming here for diner and drinks and we were so happy to spent our date night ( kid free ) at this place.
First off, the drinks were amazing. I ordered Bloody Mary and this was probably the strongest Bloody Mary I ever had in my life lol . The Irish ppl didn’t let me down for sure and I was a cheap date for my husband bc I got drunk so fast .
We ordered multiple entries and appetizers. The fish and chips were amazing . I am usually not a big fan of fried fish but this one was so juice and crispy outside. My husband ordered steak sandwich which tasted like Philly cheesesteak sandwich but tastier and fancier .
The dessert and the dessert drinks were alls great .
The service was amazing , the atmosphere felt like we are at the pub at the same time at the family restaurant because there were such a diverse groups of people who came to enjoy the foods and drinks .
We will def come back but with our kid next time !

Family friendly joint that has live music on Sundays. Solid kids menu (I steal my kid's chicken tenders) and comforting dishes.
Best pub in SF. Love the team at O'Briens. The gem of the Sunset.

Great spot if you’re in the area! Lots of food options and as expected plenty of drinks
Our waitress was on it, helpful n friendly.
Food was good but nothing stood out, parking was the worst, there was almost nothing. I bet happy hour is fun. If you are within walking distance it's worth a stop.
Wonderful pub with a warm and lively atmosphere, delicious food (including a kid's menu), and top tier service!
Great live music and Traditional Irish in Sundays 6-8 pm
They serve a proper pint. Teleports you to Ireland 🇮🇪
