We ordered takeout and it was very good. We did the assorted sashimi, 49ers roll, king of hamachi, and jalapeno roll. I wouldn't order the jalapeno roll because it had a texture similar to bell peppers that I didn't love. It was around $80 bucks which seemed like a good price and quality.

Great staff. Sushi is great, and so is the Chicken Teriyaki Rice Plate!

Good Sushi, Terrible Atmosphere

The sushi itself was good — fresh fish and nicely prepared — but everything else about the experience made us want to leave.

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was uncomfortable. The waitress looked confused (and almost annoyed) that we were there, with no greeting or welcome. The music was some sort of loud Disney-style soundtrack that made it hard to relax, and the space itself felt cold and uninviting.

The miso soup came out cold, and while the beer was fine, it could have been much colder. Overall, the food is decent, but this is definitely a place better suited for takeout than dining in.

Oki is okay but nothing really stands out or elevates this place. The interior kinda lacks charm and comes across as more functional. The staff is not Chinese and lack the attention of detail which you would receive in a Japanese restaurant.
On the food
The scallop and tuna Nigri were nice whereas the Squid could be improved. It was a bit chewy. Scoring the squid a bit deeper and let the lemon juice penetrate longer would resolve that.
The rolls were alright but after a few bites they all had the same taste and it was rather difficult to distinguish one bite from another.
There was one moment where I actually was made uncomfortable by the staff. So I ordered more ginger and when the waiter made the request to the two guys at the sushi bar, they started to look over, laugh and speak in Hokkien and continue to laugh towards me. Strange I thought, focus on improving your sushi skills would be time better spent versus making your customers regret that they came in .

Small place, and very busy. There were so many to-go orders waiting for pickup, surely a good sign. Excellent menu, and the happy hour menu has great prices. Great selection of rolls, such clever and delicious combinations on offer. Reminded me a bit of Tokyo…
Enjoy!

We ordered food on a Tuesday night and it took over 2 hours to get the food. After multiple check ins and rude service ignoring us, we finally had to cancel the order. Terrible experience

A bit small and crowded but wow! What a great dinner we had here.

We ordered a wide selection of rolls to try (about 10 - leftovers were enjoyed for lunch the next day).

A creative variety of rolls. Including less common ingredients like jalapeno, lobster, walnuts and fresh mango. A variety of sauces that were used to enhance but never overwhelm the roll.

Everything was fresh and delicious. Everything presented was a pleasure.

Btw, the OMG roll was really OMG. That just right combination of flavors made me soooo happy!

The beer was cold and the sake was just the right level of hot.

The service was excellent.

We had a goldilocks experience - everything was just right.

Amazing food, prices, and service’ My only complaint is their music play list is horrible, cheesy, Asian, pop music. It sounds like daycare center music. Lol!

Great chirashi, and very nice sushi generally. They give a nice discount to cash takeout orders too. Best sushi in the area.

Update: Chirashi had no salmon tonight, so sad. I'll try again and lower my rating if this wasn't just an anomaly.

This SF natives go to for sushi. The prices definitely reflect the huge pieces of fish with the sashimi and the rolls are beautiful and priced the same as other places

A Gem in the Neighborhood!Nestled in the heart of our Noe Valley, Oki Sushi is a true hidden gem! Greeted by warmth and friendly staffs, unfolds a great dinning experience. No doubt the have a wide variety of fresh nigiri sushi, the bacon scallop skewer, grilled ika and soft shell crab definitely steal the show! Whether you're enjoying a solo dinner or treating your friends (in my case, I have friends over from Canada), it's a perfect atmosphere for any occasion. You wont' disappoint!
