This was a great place to eat but the older woman that works there is so rude. She was being so disrespectful the last time I went there last month. She tries to show off in front of men but to women she’s very disrespectful. Great food but better workers are needed.

Cheap and cheerful with very authentic and delicious food. Falafel is particularly good.

A neighborhood staple since forever. The food is excellent, staff is top notch, and they have a large back patio.

Really good food, generous portions, beautiful colorful plates. Very nice service, good desert. A bit pricy but this restaurant seems to be open at very convenient hours and dates and the food doesn’t disappoint so you kinda get over the price.

The genuine, kind welcome was so refreshing in a world of chain restaurants. I had some of the best lamb chops I’ve ever had. Will be back for sure.

Old Jerusalem is an absolute must-visit. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, but the food is the real star of the show.
Here’s what we had:
Chicken Shawarma Plate: The chicken was perfectly seasoned and tender. It paired perfectly with their fluffy rice and hummus.
Lamb Chops Plate: These were the highlight of the night! Cooked perfectly - juicy, and incredibly flavorful. You can tell they use high-quality meat.
Kunafa: You cannot leave without ordering this. It arrived warm, gooey, and sweet with that signature crunchy topping. It’s easily one of the best versions of this dessert I’ve ever had.

The food was so flavorful and the portions were excellent for the price. The staff was so incredibly kind and knowledgeable about gluten free items. Everything was clearly labeled. This a great choice for those with celiac. We can't wait to come back.

Old Jerusalem is truly a gem in San Francisco. Their portions are huge and absolutely delicious. I ordered the mansaf, and it lasted me three meals. I loved the white sauce it came with. Everything we ordered was fresh and prepared quickly, and the staff is very friendly.
Also, trust me on this, you have to order the Dubai chocolate. I’m not usually into the whole Dubai chocolate hype, but theirs is incredible. It might honestly be the best chocolate I’ve ever had. I will definitely be coming back.

We had an absolutely fantastic family meal here.
This place is a real gem.
We focused on the shareable plates and loved everything we tried - the flavors are truly authentic and delicious. Make sure you don't skip the complementary pickles; they're a standout! And the mint tea is the perfect, refreshing end to the meal.
What makes this place special is the service. The host and the entire staff are wonderful people who make you feel right at home. Great food, great people - we highly recommend Old Jerusalem for a top-notch dining experience!
