Love this place, consistently good. Crack fish, green beans and tofu, cumin lamb, beef pancake (BYOB)

Friendly staff. A bit crowded in terms of spacing. There was a back room that opened up for overflow next door. The food came out quickly. The green onion pancake was good and not too greasy. The highlight for me was the cumin lamb stir fry. The hot and sour soup was not too salty but could use a bit more vinegar which was available at the table.

A place that I don't get out to often, but one of our favorites. My husband and I love the Cumin Lamb. We get it each time we go/order. A little on the pricey side, but the food is well worth it. Whether you are dining in or taking out, I highly recommend giving this place a try.

Amazing restaurant. Super fast, some of the best Chinese food I’ve had. We eat here every time we take our daughter to the zoo.

The food here is delicious. The people working here are beyond welcoming. Not sure what there is to dislike. I’ll be coming back here over and over again. One hack, order the tripe…it’s amazing

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I want to share my most recent experience here.

I’ve been to this restaurant at least five times since moving from China a couple of years ago, and unfortunately, the quality has noticeably declined while the prices have gone up. Our recent meal for two came out to almost $200, with a mandatory 16% tip already added to the bill, leaving no option to reduce or adjust it.

Food:
• The lamb was not fresh — a big disappointment, especially for a halal restaurant where freshness should be a priority.
• The hotpot broth was very bland, and since I don’t use dipping sauces, the lack of flavor in the meat was obvious.
• The mushu beef had far too many vegetables and very little meat.
• The seafood bun was just okay, but at $20+ each, I expected more filling compared to the thick bun.

Service:
There was essentially no service. No water was provided (only bottled water for purchase), and when we asked for extra bowls, staff were too busy — we ended up using teacups as dipping bowls.

Overall, the value just isn’t there anymore. With declining food quality, high prices, and poor service, I don’t think I’ll be returning.

Been coming here for years man and today order food to go and it was not good. So disappointed... food was always so good but today was not it. Not cool. Shrimp fried rice was not good or the beef and broccoli.

It’s great spot to try halal Chinese cuisine. My favorite food was cumin lamb and beef soup. It’s in neighborhoods location and surroundings makes this place feel more of an authentic experience. Overall food is great but can be pricey.

Very rude, crude and basic. Massively overpriced. One of the worst experiences I have had in a restaurant in recent times. There were barely any meat in the dishes. Portions were small. Don't really trust the Islamic in the name. Halal status needs to be verified.
