The food here is very very good . We ordered several items from the deli section plus 2 noodle dishes here. The soy sauce chicken is one of the best in the city. On a cold rainy day like this Saturday it was perfect when paired with a bowl of hot rice. The marinated pork ears were awesome as an appetizer with a cold beer. The snap in each bite was just right along with the spicy soy sauce and chili oil.The roasted pork belly was just great add to the soy sauce chicken. The roasted skin was so crunchy and meat was so flavored with a mix of five spice salt rub and other marinate. The Singaporean rice noodle was the best in the city as they have a good portion of shrimp, pork and chicken with various vegetables. The beef chow fun was also right. Not too salty

You show up 15 minutes before they're opened hungry for some duck noodle soup for breakfast. They usher you in happy to turn on the lights and feed you early. First comes a beautiful pot of looseleaf, oolong tea, followed by steaming broth, perfectly chewy noodles, and a plate with two rows of delectable duck breast slices. 10/10, great service, flawless food

I like to come to order these dinner sets as they offer quite many varieties of dishes and the portion is good. Their foods are fine, totally acceptable with these price tags.

I got a chance to try Old Pier HK BBQ since my haircut lady recommended it. Glad I took the recommendation! I was very impressed with the BBQ meat quality. I got a pound of the roasted pork and char siu. Both were really good! But my favorite was the roasted pork. So crunchy and packed of flavor. I came around 2pm so there was no wait. Just went right up to the front and ordered my meat. Takes about a couple minutes to get your offer. Great to grab and go for take out. They also have a big space for lunch and dinner if you want to dine in. Re heating tip my haircut lady gave me - warm up the oven to 450 degrees and once it reaches temp, turn off the oven and put in the meat to warm up for 10min. It comes out juicy.

This place has some surprisingly good dishes- I thought this was a fancy restaurant like dragon beaux, but it is a small restaurant with booths but no round tables like a traditional Chinese restaurant.I had a party of 9, and we all squeezed into the booth, their Peking duck was very crispy, and their crab meat and fish maw soup was really good, we also had braised tofu, boiled fish, fried flounder, ginger, and onion beef, everything was fine, very much a menu of home cooking. However, we asked for some of the leftovers to be boxed, and we waited for about 30 minutes but nothing came back, after checking, the food was discarded. Disappointed!Their waitstaff if under trained, waitresses shouting across the dining room. Old Pier is a place for small parties or family dining, nothing else.

Stephanie (Just my opinion)

I saw a review about the orange chicken being crisp and delicious! Well, it was! The review also suggested dining in to maintain the crispy texture to the chicken, and I am so glad I took their advice. The side of steam rice and ice water to follow made this a perfect early evening meal.Parking: Best advice, park along 20th Ave and walk half the block.

Are you kidding me? Spent $70 and very disappointed with the portion. Especially with the fried wonton and Salt and Pepper Chicken wings. Not to mention the taste are just okay. The wonton has so little meat and very rubbery. The chicken wings are so skinny. First and last order.

They charge $.25 bag fee for take-out set dinner. It doesn't make sense to charge a bage fee as it is unrealistic for customers to carry multiple containers without a bag. However, it makes sense to charge the customer if they order a single item or a box.
