Lately I’ve been craving Papusas, there is nothing better than a fluffy papusa with crispy edges. I enjoyed the papusas here, except I think they are a little too salty for my taste, maybe it’s the salt of the cheese they use not sure, otherwise they are delicious. I ordered two cheese and two mixed. Not a ton of meat in the mixed. Very light stuffing. The sauce they give you is not that spicy at all.

Delivery service very slow im witing for 30 minut
Great place!
We traveled about twenty minutes only for them to have take out only.
I did not even order from there.
the lady at the register was so rude👎🏽.
I literally came and went. Your crummy customer service just lost you a potential good customer👎🏽.
I got a vegetarian burrito and it’s literally one of the best burritos I’ve ever had I didn’t have any expectations but I was blown away!! Wow!! Only ten dollars too

Olivio’s is an underrated hidden gem in SF.
This is an authentic Salvadoran/Mexican spot tasty, affordable food and some beverages. It’s bare bones & and in the Tendernob area of the SF, which is a sketchy area but has some of the best food in the city. It seems most people order takeover or delivery. It doesn’t appear they offer dine-in options anymore as there’s always a sign outside saying “para llevar” aka to-go, but I’ll double check on this for accuracy .
I’m a fan of their bean & rice pupusas and complementary fermented cabbage salad called curtido. They have also yummy fried plantains. I also recommend their Salvadoran style Horchata. I look forward to try to their beef soup next time.
Their owner seems pleasant, humble, hard working and appreciative of business. If you don’t want to venture in the Tenderloin area, don’t let that stop you from trying Olivio’s, they are available for delivery on DoorDash! Highly recommended.

The delicious pupusas are worth it, the sauce is very good, however the curtido was not that good. I will definitely return, but I will order in advance. It's a shame that they only serve takeaway and there is nowhere to sit and wait. As a person with mobility challenges, it wasn't that easy. The surrounding environment is another risk factor, I understand that that is out of your control. Take into account that you must be prepared because there are many homeless people around doing activities that are not pleasant to see.

Great customer service. Owner replaced missing item lost by GrubHub driver. Will take out again from Olivos when back in the city.

I ordered pupusas revueltas. The pupusas, salsa and curtido were delicious. Horchata too, they make it as traditional Salvadoran horchata without milk or Rice.
Vegetarian options: Pupusas are vegetarian, unless you add chicharrón (pork) or other meats. Beans and cheese are very popular.

Greatest and best affordable Latin food spot (rn the only one) above Geary on Larkin. It's a stumble down from my SRO, and I hope they stay open for many more years to come. We weathered Covid-19 together. We will continue to thrive afterwards! ¡Mucho gusto! Keep up the great wk on dem pupusas mmmm!
