Really stepped up their wine selection. Chilled whites, chilled champagne and great reds Cali, French and Italian all ranging in price. Go if you’re in a pinch for a bottle, better than most grocery stores.
We've got our own bodega! For the longest time we'd wondered what mystery shop was going to replace Speed Clean at the corner of Cali and 10th. It turned out to be a pleasant mini mart. Its name conjurs up an ex-con running from the law. In reality it's a proper little convenience store targeting locals on their way home from work after jumping off the number 1 bus. Props to the owner for knowing their target market. It's stocked chock full of Clover organic...
