This review is for Origen's food stand at the Bay Area Book Festival in May 2022. I had a vegan tlayuda, a plate-sized crunchy tortilla topped with black beans, cabbage, tomatoes, cucumbers, radishes and a mild or spicy sauce. It was fresh and tasty. The vegetarian tamales looked wonderful, too

Rosa was at the SF Craft Chocolate Experience opening night serving her empanadas. My friend and I were so full from the chocolates so we were sent home with two veggie empanadas. They are life changing delicious! I would describe them as “veggie pot pie” empanadas that are filled with squash, corn, and green beans. My new favorite empanadas!
