We enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Food was savory and delicious. Service was prompt. Definitely and old school place where people go to enjoy and it was nice to see it.

Had a late reservation but went early to test our luck and made the right choice as we were seated early on a busy Thursday evening! The bar was crazy busy but the bartenders were still attentive. Once seated at the table, our server took care of us all night. Drinks were strong, food was fantastic! Definitely recommend!

Luckily we were seated in curved booth & the 7 of us were comfortable. The server was good. The staff refilling water & assisting we're good too. All the entrees were excellent. It was very loud, so if you're looking for a quiet dinner this is not the place for you. We return because of the consistent food quality & service.

First time dining here on 6/19/2025. Really enjoyed all of the food and the service was great. I've eaten at other Italian restaurants in North Beach but Original Joe's probably ranks near the top. The veal Milanese was delicious and the butter cake for dessert was rich and tasty! I'd certainly dine here again.

Outstanding. Obviously the best restaurant in San Francisco. I always order the New York steak, rare and it's always the best steak in town. Love the ambiance and the service is perfect.

We had such an incredible experience dining here for our anniversary. I've only been to the Westlake Joes but this is closer and I cannot believe we've never dined here before! Will definitely be back. The food was amazing; the butter cake was out of this world! Also, our server heard it was our anniversary and brough us some complimentary champagne. Very nice touch!
Wonderful restaurant and bar with old world style and fresh fresh food. Excellent pasta, steak, salads and desserts. The doughnuts are so fluffy they practically float. Good wine list by the glass. Can't believe I've never been there before. Will definitely be on the top of the list next visit.

We were greeted promptly. They accommodated our desire to be seated outside in a quieter place. The staff was friendly and engaging. Our server, Kyle, was excellent. He helped with menu choices. He also went above and beyond to help two tourists get directed back to our hotel. The food was good. Recommend making a reservation. We recommended this restaurant.

Good cocktails & wines by the glass - Old Fashion, French 75, Tequila, Chardonnay. Started with shared appetizers of arancini & meatballs which were perfect. Also shared a Caesar salad. The entrees were delicious - lamb chops, Milanese, veal, rigatoni, chicken parmesan, alfredo. Desserts topped off the meal with butter cake, tiramisu, chocolate layered cake. Professional and friendly service headed by Dickie who gave very good suggestions.
