I love my neighborhood restaurant bar. The people and food are fantastic. Their bread and Caesar salad are out of this world.

I went here because it was listed #2 for "Dog Friendly Restaurant" in San Francisco on Yelp. Turns out dogs are NOT allowed. Please update this so people with dogs can easily look up restaurants they can actually take their dogs to if they want to.

Great Italian restaurant in this part of town. We had a terrific lunch there, great service, and extensive menu. Paired with a nice glass of wine and it was a perfect afternoon.

Jon Luca was very courteous and really knew how to speak about the dishes with love. The servers were on top of their job and really cared about the customers. The main dishes were excellent, especially the braised oxtail and beef tongue dish with pasta?WOW! Two Thumbs up to Bella Trattoria??????

17.38 for a shot of mid well tequila that's insane y'all are not in downtown area to have those prices and the bartender was just sitting down the whole time. First and last.

Sorry, can not rate restaurant yet. I wanted to eat at location, but I had my 2 old small dogs (no dogs allowed, ONLY service dogs). I do not know when I will be there, again. I do live in the area.

lo abbiamo scelto per caso e anche un po' scettici di trovare una buona cucina italiana invece sorprendentemente gustosa, di qualità. i miei gnocchi spinaci e gorgonzola strepitosi, anche la parmigiana gustosissima! per finire l'affogato al caffè ci ha veramente deliziati! Bell'ambiente e calda atmosfera in sala, l'accoglienza di Gianluca simpatica e cordiale la fa da padrona! Sceglietelo!

I have been living in the neighborhood for 3 years but only went to Osteria bella/Bella trattoria for the first time last night. I am Italian and I have been disappointed by Italian restaurants in SF so many times that I was avoiding them. However, my Neapolitan mom came to visit, and since she was home sick, I thought about giving a try to Osteria bella: what a genius idea! Everything was absolutely delicious and the all staff was so kind! My mom had the artichokes: very tasty! I had the “maccurun ca salsiccia” (macaroni with meat sausage): a delight! My toddler loved it too and ate half of my plate! My husband had the “gnocchi al ragu” and was absolutely happy about it. All the dishes were plenty/very generous with portions. The panna cotta and the tiramisu were the best I ever had! Cocktails, antipasti, and bread were so good too! I will definitely go back. My plan is to try everything on the menu! Gianluca was incredibly adorable from A to Z. He took great care of my mom and was speaking Neapolitan to her. She was so happy about the food and the atmosphere! Everybody was so friendly and making everything easy for my old mom and my baby! Graz’ assaï Osteria bella! Best restaurant in town ever!
