The food, service, and atmosphere were all stellar! Bobby and Brad took the time to explain the decor was themed after the “kill bill” movies. The service was impeccable for a Friday night(or any night). Our waiter Sergio was on top of every little detail from clearing our empty dishes, filling our water and drinks, to explaining each dish. Brad was very knowledgeable about all the wines and Bobby checked in on us to make sure everything was perfect! We will definitely be back and bring all our friends from Sacramento! Went there for happy hour today to catch up with one of my friends and the food and service were amazing as always! We sat in Sergio's section, and he is super attentive and provided excellent service. Thank you to Bobby, the GM, and his team for being extremely hospitable and checking on us as we enjoyed the food. Definitely my fave Japanese place in the city!!!

We asked to avoid anything spicy, but one of the sushi rolls came with a spicy sauce and was topped with chili peppers — a very unpleasant surprise. I also asked for a sushi recommendation, and although a specific fish sushi was highly promoted, it was never served. The chicken leg in the ramen was disappointing — it was mostly bone with skin, as if the meat had been removed. The seating was also very uncomfortable; I felt like a chicken on a perch. Though we didn't move, others might want to switch to a regular table. Dirty dishes sat on our table for a long time despite several servers passing by. Overall, the service lacked attention to detail.

Thank you Kelly for accommodating my friends and I during happy hour. We arrived there closer to 5:30 PM and were still able to enjoy our dishes. The food was good but maybe not for its price, especially the caviar. However the service is excellent and Edgar R. went above and beyond to ensure our time was well spent.

Amazing sushi and good service. Pricey but worth it. Especially the fatty blue fin tuna sashimi and the una love were amazing. But everything I ordered was extremely good. Quality is excellent and def worth the price.

I am a regular at Pabu Izakaya usually for Happy Hour and dinner. Recently, I started dining outdoors in the patio area with my pups and it's been great joy! Edgar was my waiter today and he and manager Kelly treated them like VIP (very important pup). Thank you for the watermelon slices! We will be back! Hopefully I can try happy hour with the dogs in the patio (not sure if it's allowed). Food is always spot on and delicious!

I’ve dined here several times and it’s always an excellent experience from walking through the doors to the final bite. Typically I go for and encourage the omakase but I’ve also ordered a la carte for the table… can’t go wrong. The freshness, attentive service and presentation of the food is always on point.

10/10 amazing Luigi was extraordinay and made awesome recommendations for each dish. We got the omakase which was EXCELLENT but the one thing that was missing was a wine/champagne pairing. We go out to eat a lot and every other spot has a pairing add-on to go with their omakase. We were shocked they didn’t have it? We are definitely coming back and hoping to see a wine/champagne pairing add-on in the near future. The food is so good, atmosphere is sexy, cocktail selection is soooo 100%. Thank you Luigi for taking care of us!!!! Looking forward to our next visit! Also saw they have a private dining room area for parties etc. will definitely be reserving. Thank you Pabu!! Please add a wine/champagne pairing to your omakase!!! Thanks again :)
