We live nearby and have been coming here for years, mostly all good experiences. However last night we had a major issue which still feels unresolved. We visited with family and kids. Kids ordered FISH and chips. Our family is pescatarian and does not eat meat. Our kids have never eaten meat before. After eating much of their dinner, we realized the kids were served CHICKEN and fries. I didn't want to make a scene in front of the kids, trying to downplay what just happened. I went to find the manager and he lightly apologized, but did not seem to understand the importance of the error or take responsibility. Their end result was to remove $12 from the bill. I find this outcome unacceptable and will have a hard time returning in the future.
I’m about to have yet another perfect meal.
I have ordered the same thing since PC first opened on Chestnut. It’s evolved over the years but still what I consider a perfect salad.
Gio remembered me which is always fun. Thanks Gio.

Another delightful evening at Pacific Catch Sunset District . We were running a bit late, but they graciously held our table for us. Our server was wonderful. The drinks, starters and entrees were delicious! Thanks Pacific Catch!
I would say that this Pacific Fresh was "good". Nothing beyond that. The service was neither outstanding nor horrible. The ambiance was cold with hard surfaces all around and not super inviting. It may be the uncomfortable lighting. Everything seems pukey green. Maybe during the day without the lighting will be better. We went at night. Not a lot of warmth. The food was made but not made with love nor exceptional care. Just meh. Slapped together. Some dishes were over the top expensive and shouldn't have been. For example the miso black cod was a $34 entree tasted more like a $22 dish. Presented like a $18 dish. The lobster roll same thing. The grilled salmon burger was dry and not very good. The tacos were probably the only items in line with the price for what it was. I would go back if there's an event across the street. The kids meal were ok. Your typical offerings and the kids ate it.
Cabi was amazing!!! What a great guy! Impeccable service and was extremely courteous and professional! Will come back just to spend time with him!

Great food and experience all around. Fresh seafood, and bellwell balanced textures and flavors. Drinks were great too, and best of all reasonable $..

West coast salmon bowl, sub salmon with tofu - 5/5 amazing!!!! Never thought I’d rave about takeout but here we are
Lightly sauced, not too sweet. Pumpkin seeds add crunchiness. Tofu is grilled, very umami. Brown rice is fun to chew. Great bowl. Feels good after eating.

The worst restaurant for takeout. When I pick up my order, after paying, the workers at the window ignore me, they don't serve me, and I have to wait 15 minutes or more for someone to help me. Terrible service.
We went early, got the table we wanted (outside is quieter), had a darling & helpful waiter (& he had a lovely woman helper), tried a variety of things on the Happy Hour menu, especially loved the cod tacos (next time I'll see if they can add a tablespoon of guacamole to the taco) & margaritas, and enjoyed the weather & each others' company for a leisurely meal, and even ran into a dog-walking friend there. I was happy to see there was a decent number of kosher options and was pleasantly surprised by the bill. My sister & our friends will go there more often.

October 2025:
Updating my review. Stopped by for lunch and tried the salmon sandwich. I've had this recently at the Corte Madera branch and enjoyed my meal there. I was also very happy with my salmon sandwich at the Inner Sunset Branch. Would come back again for more delicious food.
September 2017 update:
Salmon rice bowl is always a favorite. Udon was a bit too salty.

Many favorites here. I like the salmon w/rice or salad. The poki is also a favorite here.
Craft beer selection is good.
We went to PC because we wanted a meal with fish for a change and with no great expectations. We were more than pleased with our dinner choices. The fresh fish and the accompaniments were all so very good . We both agreed that we would return in the near future. The only drawbacks and, out of the restaurants control, is finding a parking place and, in our case, a large very loud birthday group making hearing somewhat difficult. Still will return and will bring (quiet) friends with us!
Great place good food good service made a nice tofu bowl for the vegetarian in our group. (Me)Not much parking. Chilly inside. Wish I had a jacket.

We had a table of 3, and split one Salmon bowl, and had 1 tofu bowl. Also, a pineapple dessert with a vanilla Gelato between three of us. The server was great, and we sat in the outside sheltered area for lunch. The Hardly Strictly Bluegrass festival was going on, so it was pretty crowded, but seemed like everything was running smoothly. We had avery n ice time. Great food and great service.
I can always count on a wonderful meal at a good price at Pacific catch. We have gotten to know Gabby, the bartender and several other members of the staff who created us like family. We will dine there again and again.
