Great food, cramped quarters. Place was completely packed!
Was visiting sf for a few days and drove by this place a couple of times. Got take out to go watch the sunset at Lands End. Woon sen pad Thai was amazing! And so was the chicken sate. This seems like a great locals place - not a tourist trap. Prices are good too. Highly recommend. If we ever visit San Fran again - we will go for a sit down meal.

Pagan Restaurant is a local eatery serving Southeast Asian cuisine. The menu features dishes like pineapple fried rice and pad thai, which were once considered exceptional, but have been inconsistent in quality lately. Despite this, the restaurant offers high-quality food in giant portions at reasonable prices. The atmosphere is cozy, with Burmese decor, and the service is attentive and friendly. Many customers appreciate the local, family-owned business vibe, which makes the dining experience more enjoyable. The food is very flavorful and creative, with dishes like chicken satay, chicken kebat, and coconut rice that make each meal special. Whether visiting for a quick bite or a relaxed dinner, the friendly and laid-back service ensures a pleasant experience. Overall, Pagan Restaurant is a great spot for authentic and delicious Southeast Asian food, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
