This is one of the best Indian/Pakistani restaurants in San Francisco. The neighborhood is on the bad side at night, but no one bothers you.

We had the lamb biryani, chicken biryani, and goat kadahi. Amazing flavor and delicious. It is a small place and you have to order on your own.

Highly recommend for great authentic food.
Some of my friends from the Bay wanted to experience authentic Pakistani food. No surprise I took them to Pakwan

From the menu being in both English and Urdu, to the cute historical Pakistani architecture reflected in the wall art and the food I was taken right back home.

If you are thinking what to order I would highly recommend try getting Chicken Karahi and Beef bihari kebab. The portion sizes are incredibly generous. The final bill came...
I went there with my family. We were a group of 7 people. They ran out of Paneer butter masala and the paneer used in other curries and biryani was very hard. Biryani quantity was good. Butter naan, garlic naan and kulcha were good but naan was a bit hard. Overall food was ok.
