I used to come here all the time with my family. We’d order a whole bunch of different dishes and my favorite is always their chicken tikka masala, tandoori chicken, garlic naan, and goat Karahi.

This time we got the tandoori chicken, tikka masala , beef kebob, and garlic naan & aloo naan.

If you’re looking for authentic halal Indian and Pakistani food in San Francisco, Pakwan Restaurant on Ocean Avenue is a must-try! I ordered the lamb biryani and a mango lassi—the biryani was rich, aromatic, and flavorful, with just the right amount of spice (a bit spicy 🥵 for my taste, but still amazing). The mango lassi was creamy and refreshing, perfect to balance the heat.
