A small restaurant, but with very good food, if from a limited menu. all the dishes wee tasty, including the apple strudel!
It was our first time at paprika and will definitely keep going to It. The food was delicious and Chef Bruno very warm and welcoming. Loved everything we had.
What a great find! Nestled in the heart of the Mission is this gem featuring Czech and Hungarian delights. Had the grilled Leona's and the Szeged goulash with a Hungarian red. Delicious food and attentive and friendly service! I highly recommend!
I love this place! They have veggie options for my favorite Hungarian classics. Everything is always delicious and the service is always great. They never rush me or hover over my table. <3
One of my favorite restaurants in SF. Great food and personal service in a calm and unpretentious atmosphere. Love it's European bohemian vibe too!
Cozy little hole in the wall but the only one that serves food from Hungary and Czech. The dishes are flavourful but likely need more salt for the palate of average Americans (we use little salt at home so we r used to finding most food in restaurants too salty). We had all the main courses available and ordered apple streusel and chocolate cake for desserts. The apple streusel was warm and crispy. One less star for the limited choices and a rather lacklustre chocolate cake.

We cook a lot. Honestly, we felt that we could've prepared everything as well if not better at home.
Ahoj,
Food was very good, even compared to original czech cuisine. Will came back again, when in town.

For what this place strives to be, it does it really well.
It's a pretty spare brauhaus, a few tables surrounded by almost naked walls. The menu is limited but quite good, a selection of a few delicious sausages, salads, and cheeses. We had the house salad, the kielbasa and bockwurst sausages with stone mustard and pickled vegetables, and the cheese platter. Everything was very good, if not exceptional.
It doesn't have the richness of a SF gastropub but it's just solid and unpretentious. If you're in the area and want to grab a beer and a bit, it's a good place to pop into.

Feels like eating a warm home cooked meal except your parents can actually cook

Dining in at Paprika was one of my first experiences trying German food, and I liked the simplicity of the menu. The drinks and food are tasty and reasonably priced. I came here for a Stammtisch meet-up, and it is likely I will become a regular here.
