Pizza is old school and delicious. Have good beer on tap too. Enjoyed a Stone IPA. 😀
I wonder if they changed the chef or even the owner. We went there the first time last year recommended by a friend saying that the pizza served fresh and hot. We tried and ok not the best pizza we ever had but my wife liked their clam pasta. They are about the same the following couple times until this last visit 3 days ago. The pizza was not cold to be fair but definitely not red hot like right out from the oven. It was barely warm as matter of fact. The ingredients weren't fresh. The Coke they severed was flat. The Alfredo had no texture and chicken was tough to chew. I won't go the next time.
I ordered an ice tea. Instead, I was served cleaning solution. This, along with many other incidents, is probably why this place shut down
Decided to go while in town, as I grew up going here. Must be new owners. Found a large bug in my salad, which was already watered down to begin with. Politely mentioned to owner, he took it back to the kitchen, then returned to tell me it was organic salad and it was a seed. My response, "a seed with legs?!" Then he went to open the seed, which in fact, was a bug. We simply asked for the bill before receiving food but after have been served a carafe of wine. We walked out and they still made us pay for the wine. Will not return.
Nice place. Good food, good service. I but pricey, but that expected for the area.
The pizza was delicious, but my coke came with a crumb in it, the chicken was either way overdone or old. Couldnt cut through it. The waiter didnt even bat an eye or ask if there was anything wrong when I left it on the plate uneaten. Not going back
Best place for bland food. Good luck getting a table.
Nice place and food and service are excellent
Best pizza in the neighborhood, and among my favorites in SF out of 30+ places. Their takeout times may vary but they'll always provide an estimate up front before taking your order. Friday nights are always going to be busy, for instance.
Very delicious food with very attentive staff. I had the chicken parmigiana. Very tasty and flavorful! This place is one of my most favorite restaurants!

Very good service and quaint. Just like your hometown pizzaria combined with the modern atmosphere of an upscale place. The food here was wonderful. I ordered a small garden pizza for dinner which was a bit bigger than I thought once it was brought to the table. A small mind you is probably good for 2-3 people. Otherwise, fantastic experience, fantastic people and place.
