The only downside to this visit is we were seated next to part of the bar area — and 3 very drunk and loud patrons made it difficult to have conversation and they kept bumping the shoulders of those on the side of table closest to them . They were totally inconsiderate and oblivious . Despite this —- and it's the first time it's happened after many dining experiences at The Patio the past few years — it's still one of our favorite neighborhood restaurants.

After searching for the perfect restaurant to celebrate our wedding, we found The Patio—and it was amazing! From the start, Val gave us the best service, listening to what we wanted and showing us their beautiful outdoor patio—a stunning space with a gazebo, lush greenery, and a private bar.
She explained the menu, drinks, and pricing in detail—no reservation fee, just a minimum spend based on guest count. We also had exclusive access to the area, except for one table that was far enough not to affect our privacy. As if that wasn’t enough, Val even played a custom Spotify playlist we sent her and offer to create floral arrangements for the tables at a very reasonable price, but she also gave us the option to bring our own if we preferred.
The next day, she sent us a well-priced menu proposal, and every special request we made was handled with enthusiasm. She responded to emails promptly and was incredibly flexible—even opening early at 4 PM for a cocktail hour before our 6 PM dinner, which worked out perfectly since our City Hall ceremony ended at 3 PM.
On the big day, everything was ready when we arrived. Val was our dedicated server, and her team was on point—drinks were served instantly, and appetizers arrived right at 5 PM. The charcuterie board was generous, and the ceviche was outstanding—one of the best we’ve ever had!
Dinner was served exactly at 6 PM, as we asked, and the food was incredible:
• Braised Short Ribs – fall-apart tender, served with creamy mashed potatoes. • Pan-Seared Salmon – perfectly cooked with flavorful couscous. • Roasted Vegetables & Vegan Pasta – fresh, delicious, and well-seasoned. • Vegan Pasta – loaded with fresh veggies and tossed in a delicious tomato pesto sauce.
Everyone loved it, and there was plenty left over, which Val’s team carefully packed for us.
For dessert, we had cheesecake with caramel & pecans and a flourless chocolate cake—Both were heavenly! Everyone went back for seconds, and we even had extra to take home.
Beyond the food and drinks, the entire restaurant staff was incredibly attentive, professional, and kind to us and our guests. We received countless compliments from our family and friends about how amazing the service was.
If you’re looking for a semi-private space for a wedding celebration or any special occasion, The Patio is the place to go! We wish we could give more than five stars because Val and the team went above and beyond to make our night unforgettable.
