The Park Chalet offers a consistently wonderful experience. The food is very good, with a decent variety, the location and atmosphere are great (inside can get pretty noisy when busy though), and the service is always friendly and welcoming. A great place to come enjoy some food and a beer with your friends and your dog, while your kids run wild and free in the outskirts of Golden Gate Park.
We went here last weekend with some friends. It’s a great place if you like to be outdoors and have children and/or dogs since it’s child and pet friendly. The food is nice… I tried the burger with poblano peppers and it was very tasty. It’s also a good option if you like beer, since they have their own brewery
A leisurely first stroll down one of the many trails at Golden Gate Park led me to the Beach Chalet, quietly nestled near the Dutch Windmill. I didn't realize what I blindly drove by a couple of weeks ago exploring the neighborhood, and now I know better!
