Delicious Breakfast at Pat's Café
I had a chance to stop by Pat's Cafe for breakfast during the work week. Even though I wasn't very hungry, the Polk Street Omelet caught my eye, so I ordered it along with a cup of regular coffee. The omelet is made with bacon, ham, bell peppers, onions, and cheddar cheese, and it comes with home fries and your choice of toast.
The coffee was still great! I loved its flavor, just as I did on my last visit a few years back. The omelet was as good as I hoped it would be. While sitting and sipping my coffee, I noticed how the staff interacted with other customers. I was so impressed with their attention to every table that I had to compliment Ricardo, who served my table, and the young lady who seemed to be the manager. They were both so attentive that it made me wish I could hire them if I were a restaurant owner!
The place is cozy and well-maintained. The service is excellent, the coffee is awesome, and the food is delicious.

Decent breakfast, good coffee, decent service, conveniently close to our hotel, seemed a bit pricey for what it was

When the blonde lady took my order I remember thinking "Wow, I can't believe she can remember my order without having to write it down". Yeah, turns out she can't and she forgot to punch in half of my order. I wanted to eat everything all together, so by the time I got what I was missing my other food was cold. Food was okay, nothing special.

Excellent cafe for breakfast in North Beach area. Food was delicious and great portion sizes. Staff provided wonderful service, some of the best we’ve had in USA. Would 100% recommend to visit when in SF.

If you like reese's you should really get the peanut butter and chocolate pancake. Also the owner is really nice. I personally liked the french toast to though.

The service is quick and friendly. Unfortunately the food is pretty bad. I had the greasiest omlette of my life and was struggling to finish it. Also the kitchen doesn't seem to know how to cut onions. I had slices ranging from eyelash to thumbsize.

Some of the other reviewers are clearly expecting a fancier restaurant. This is a typical breakfast diner, but the food is excellent. Service was exactly as we hoped for this type of restaurant. Highly recommend the French toast.

On our 4 days in SF, we had breakfast here 3 of the days. Quite simply because the food was excellent, large menu, fast and friendly service and reasonable prices. Thank you for some pleasant mornings.

The quality of food was not worth the price
Tried the chicken fajita omelette on my last day in San Francisco and it was absolutely delicious - great, friendly staff and a fabulous menu - only wish I lived closer so I could come back again and again!
