Mostly docking stars here though since I'm not used to SF prices. The whole meal cost about $40 (including tip). I'm glad to have tried this place and the food was good, but I don't know if I'd pay $40 for this...
Paula’s Cafe is a cozy little spot in Lower Haigh with a warm, welcoming vibe and super comfy booths. Their Birria Chilaquiles are amazing—crispy tortilla chips and melted cheese soaked in flavorful birria sauce, with tender beef, over-easy eggs, fresh avocado slices, and some tangy pickled onions. Homey-style diner with friendly service. Got the breakfast burrito and it was fresh and tasty. The home style potatoes were very good! Husband got over easy eggs and they were cooked perfectly. Price was very reasonable- 40 bucks for two full plates of food and coffee.
