Very good Italian restaurant in the financial district. Fresh dishes and real Italian flavors. Large selection of wines by the glass. Attentive and friendly service. Please note: as in the entire neighborhood you have to go eat (very) early, restaurants often no longer accept customers after 8:00 p.m. or 8:30 p.m.Wheelchair accessibility: On the ground floor, access from the sidewalk possible.

Lots of tables packed into a storefront with a strip mall-like feel. The host was friendly, but never checked me in on Open Table, so I had to "update my attendence" NBD, but it reflects on the experience overall. Open kitchen, I saw our order sitting out while server and host were standing right in front of it chatting, but no one picked it up. Negronis were just so-so. Server was nice but inattentive. Food was just okay- maybe we should have ordered pizzas because pasta dishes were bland. The warm olives and the salmon entree were the best part of the meal, but nothing exceptional tbh. Can't say I'd return nor recommend this place, yet there seemed to be a few regular customers coming in.

Fantastic through and through. Simple dishes with impeccable ingredients, executed perfectly. Warm and welcoming owner and staff make this a gem for going on 20 years now. Having known Pazzia for over a decade, it continues to shine!

All of the above great place. Food is impeccable. Service is thoughtful and accommodating. Atmosphere is calm and comfortable. As a bonus, the open-kitchen style restaurant adds a little bit of fun.

It was a wonderful surprise. a rediscovered treasure. I used to work in the area and ate at Pazzia at least once a week. I hadn't been back in almost 20 years and was blown away that it hadn't changed much ... in a good way. The food was delicious -- not a single wrong note. The service was friendly and helpful. The room is nothing special but very comfortable and welcoming. Bonus: they now have a full bar. I can't wait to go back.

Very cramped atmosphere, Pizzas were below par, and more importantly, please ensure that you check the bill before paying it because it seems the crook waitress added a 20% tip to my bill without me knowing!

This is really top-notch authentic Italian food! We had a reservation on a weeknight and were seated immediately upon arriving. Our server was great and pointed out some keynote dishes on the menu. We selected a bottle of wine (solid wine list) and got started. We tried a little of everything. For appetizers, the carpaccio was the best I've had in a long time and the meatballs were just perfect. As tender and tasty as it gets. I followed that up with a sausage pizza and loved it as well. Nice chewy Neapolitan crust with a fine patina. For desert I had to have the tiramisu. I'm sure I've never had better! Seems like it's been a long time since I had an Italian meal that brought it all together so well. Can't wait to come again!Olympic Otter
Authentic Firenze experience. Management & staff are attentive and food is amazing. Fresh with good quality ingredients and without “extra”. One of the better Italian I've had in SF.

Fantastic gnudi (spinach and ricotta dumplings) — a must with a good glass of red wine. Very good Negroni.
