Our favorite restaurant in SF! My husband & I are regulars here. It’s an incredibly well rounded spot - the perfect blend of wonderful atmosphere, well prepared food, great drinks, and attentive service. I recommend making a reservation if you want to be sure of a table - we always walk in but sometimes wait for a while at the bar tables outside (which is in itself a very pleasant experience…cocktails and delicious oysters while streetwatching). I had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at The Pearl 6101 in San Francisco. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. The Japanese sweet potatoes were an unexpected standout, perfectly roasted with a caramelized edge that made them both comforting and elegant.
