Very good at attention to detail and delicious pies, I ordered a latte and blueberry tart to go and as I opened my coffee cup to get a whiff of my freshly brewed cup I noticed the barista added latte art to it even though I didn't ask. A pleasant surprise to my afternoon coffee.

Tried both vegan pies. I liked the lentil and yam more. Very nice and not dry. Pleasantly surprised by this find

A bit pricey on the drinks, but that is expected from the area, the food was decent prices and filling, so a very pleasant surprise.

Shared a beef pie and a chicken pie, both were very underwhelming with hardly any flavor. It's a cute place, although staff weren't very warm or welcoming. Maybe the sweet pies are better?

Update: the sausage and egg breakfast pie is much better, although there isn't much sausage. The staff today were much friendlier as well.

Fresno prices in San Francisco?! For decent-sized phenomenal food?! Food that is portable?!

Sadly, I am only up in San Francisco when taking my kiddo up to the hospital every 1.5 to 2 years for a repeat procedure; but when we are, our first stop is Peasant Pies. Fingers crossed they decide to open a location in Fresno. Please?!

Decent savory pies - I think of them as healthier, smaller (and to be honest, less tasty) versions of Cornish pasties. They heat them up for you when you order. Count on 2-3 pies per person for a meal.

Best food for under $6. If you want dessert it's $11.50

Vegetarian options: Spicy lentil yam is heaven! Blueberry custard, pear crumble, apple crumble, pumpkin pecan, spinach, veggie with eggs if you eat eggs. So so so heaven! I eat here weekly for years

Decent food and nice service and location make this a valid choice when at work or the clinics. I’ve been there before and it was fine, but my experience today is what I’m sharing.I found a long and wadded hair in my soup. I told them and showed them. They offered a refund which seemed a reasonable response (along with doubling their cleanliness practices). I was refunded half of what I paid, so about $12. Take that for what it’s worth.

Pleasant people but average pies. Felt more like something from a frozen box I’d have at home than make a special walk to acquire.
