Nothing to set this place from the other coffee shops in the neighborhood!
Crew was ok! Paying just the necessary attention to the customers so your order would not arrive to your table cold! My cappuccino was OK! Noise level was borderline between acceptable and too much!

Peets changed their pastry supplier. Much smaller selection. Tried the only scone available and it was not good. Doesn't seems as fresh too. Time to find another coffee shop.

The staff at this location are very friendly & Location is very beautiful,

The only reason I knock them a star, Is because at times they suffer from being short staffed and I’ve had to wait extended periods of time for a simple order.

I believe it’s a reflection, not of the people that work at this location, but their corporate.

Good coffee, friendly and mostly competent employees.
Bought a few pounds of coffee, tipped $10 cash and waited, and waited…for the grounded coffee beans only to be told by another employee that they didn’t have any more of this one blend & to try the west portal store. Of course they gave a refund but I never got the cash tip handed back to me.

Interesting how that works.

Love the blended coffees here - they smell amazing when you walk in + Christmas blend that comes once every 12 months and black tie iced coffee (not usually shown on menu). Food items are good, but could use improvements in my opinion. Avoid the scones.

It's okay at this Peets. Maybe it's because I'm used to the location and staffing.

I am extremely disappointed with the service at this Peet's location. This experience deserves zero stars if that were an option.
The root of the problem is clear:
management negligence and unbelievable stinginess. During a peak time, there was only one person working the espresso machine, trying desperately to keep up with orders. The result was chaos. The waiting area was completely overrun, with a massive crowd of frustrated customers standing shoulder-to-shoulder, all waiting for drinks that were taking 15 to 20 minutes to prepare.
It’s obvious that the equipment—specifically the main coffee machine is outdated and painfully slow, slowing down the one barista to a crawl. For a business of this size and volume, it is astounding that the owner is so greedy they can't invest in adequate staffing or replace broken, sluggish machines.
This isn't a problem with the hardworking barista, but a failure of leadership. Until the owner decides to staff properly and invest in the necessary equipment to serve customers efficiently, I cannot recommend this location and will not be returning.

This Peet's location has the best staff. They are so kind and provide excellent service, always making you feel valued. It's the ideal spot to study because they create such a comfortable, non-judgmental environment. Their respect for their customers' time and needs truly makes a difference.

I always tip before I even get my coffee, and most of the staff here are friendly and respectful. When mistakes happen, they usually fix them right away with no problem. Unfortunately, this year one barista has shown a bad attitude — instead of correcting mistakes politely, she argues with me and even tells me the way I drink my coffee is wrong. After 15 years as a loyal customer, I shouldn’t be made to feel unwelcome.”

Nice coffee shop with plenty of seating and a friendly ambiance. A good location to get together with friends for coffee or just hang out alone to catch up on emails, etc. Their capacinno is pretty decent. Food options are somewhat limited as compared to similar shops. Plus there is plenty of free parking in the shopping complex.

Coffee at the ol’ G•E•T Plaza? I’m showin’ my age; having coffee out here in Lakeshore Plaza after a quick visit to a gloriously foggy beach (was visiting from the land of the heat, Coachella Valley) and was delighted that there’s a coffee chain that I’ve dearly missed since leaving Northern California. Staff was kind, delightful and helpful; was looking for a hot version of the Tuxedo drink, and the barista suggested another variant which I liked even better than having the original cold brew drink! Branded coffee mugs made for a nice souvenir to take back with me, and another barista help me get the mug safely wrapped for transport back home. I’ll be looking forward to visit this establishment when returning back and can’t wait to try more drinks featuring the bold flavors of Peet’s Coffee.

I just ordered a cappuccino, and the attendant was rude and looked upset, as if she didn’t like her job. I always leave a tip, but for this kind of service, I won’t. I’m not going to have coffee at this location anymore.
