We discovered Restaurant Perilla the day before Thanksgiving, just as other places were closing. Very nice Vietnamese restaurant with reasonable prices and a family atmosphere. My house pho was delicious and so was my friend’s garlic noodles. Both portions were generous. Looks like a neighborhood favorite with many patrons greeting each other. My first time there but will go back.

lol- I come to SF for work and love Perilla. Because I’m only in SF a few times a year, when I order I forget there’s an extra choice to include silverware. So here I am- yet again- stoned- in my hotel eating delicious noodles with my bare hands because the option for forks isn’t obvious. If you order DoorDash man- remember to select silverware. Maybe next time, yall.

The service was very warm. Although they served Vietnamese food, it gave me HK vibes. The food was decent, didn't stand out too much as some of the meat were slightly dry. The noodles had good flavor and the clams were sauces so well.
