We ate breakfast there because we were staying at the hotel. Both of us got eggs Benedict. One had smoked salmon and the other a crab cake. Both were okay, but we both wouldn’t get that again for the price tag. After having fresh crab and other seafood in the area we just felt like it didn’t quite live up to other dishes. Service was wonderful though and it was fun to see the chef’s cooking and the pizza ovens.
We stopped one evening for a quick dinner outside as it was full inside. Even though it was almost mid-October, it was nice outside. The service is quite spartan as it is used in the USA. We ordered a burrata which was fresh and good but small (we realized later that it was an appetizer), two Margherita pizzas which were a little higher than the American standard; unfortunately for an Italian it is impossible not to make a comparison with our pizza. Plus a spectacular rib eye...
Staying in the connecting hotel, it was almost instinctive for me to eat in this restaurant. The staff is really courteous and kind but above all 2 girls who are always smiling. Good pizza and second courses. If I were to return to San Francisco I would definitely stay here again
