I have been here a couple times, usually when I am craving for a Philly cheesesteak or when I am in the area with a big appetite. The staffs here are very welcoming, well trained and understanding where there was never an issue in any of my visits. Their menu consists of the original Philly cheesesteak, other types of cheesesteaks, sandwiches, fries, drinks, etc. Everything is made from scratch which is always a plus for me and I never mind the wait since I am a very patient person. You can dine in, order for takeout or order through a delivery app. For dine in you can sit on the bar counter or at one of their tables. This place is a plus, because there is not many cheesesteak shops in the area. I highly recommend this place to all Philly cheesesteak enthusiasts, if you are starving, or for anyone looking to try something new. I definitely will be back to tryout the other delicious options they have to offer.

Just had the most incredible lunch at Phillies in San Francisco and I'm still dreaming about it! As a cheesesteak enthusiast, I'm always skeptical of places outside of Philadelphia, but this spot completely won me over. I ordered the Rocky Balboa and it was nothing short of spectacular. The sandwich came beautifully wrapped in paper (keeps it nice and warm!) and was perfectly constructed - a soft yet sturdy roll packed with thinly sliced, seasoned steak that was incredibly tender. The colorful mix of sautéed bell peppers added the perfect sweet crunch and brightness to balance the savory meat. What impressed me most was the attention to detail - the meat was perfectly seasoned and not greasy at all. The bread had that ideal chewy-yet-soft texture that held everything together without falling apart (a true art!). The staff was friendly and efficient, and the place has that no-nonsense, authentic vibe that makes you feel like you've been transported straight to South Philly. If you're craving an authentic cheesesteak experience in SF, look no further than Phillies. This Rocky Balboa knockout has made me a regular customer for sure! Worth every penny and definitely coming back to try their other variations soon.

I was craving a philly cheesesteak the other day. Some guy on reddit suggested this place. I got the works and it completely delivered on everything I wanted and more. Phenomenal sandwich.

The guy working there was nice too. Parking was easy.

Good food, tasted pretty authentic, okay on price - I paid $20 for a philly and cheese fries. Probably the most difficult part is finding parking, it's doable but feels a bit sketchy.

The burger at Phillies is alright. I had a cheeseburger w/egg $13, garlic fries $5.15 and a can of soda $2.50. It was kind of weird they melt the cheese on the tomato instead of the patty. They use shredded romaine lettuce and chopped grilled onions. I had to ask for raw onions and it came chopped as well. The patty needed more flavor. As for service, I ordered garlic tots but they guy gave me garlic fries. I hate to see food go to waste so I didn't say anything. My food was given to someone else and the other patron had to let the cashier know this wasn't his food. The cashier is also the line chef. It does get loud in there when the other chef is clinging his metal spatulas on the metal grill.

delicious philly cheesecake! you can choose the option of cheese, we went with the classic cheese whiz. It's best eaten when dining in and was also great taken home as leftovers.

This is the best place ever. Their food is hot and delicious. I used to live next to their Geneva location and would walk there at least 3 times a week for a burger or chicken cheese steak. Their fries are the bomb. No matter what you order your mouth will water before you eat it. Thanks

Philly native here. Ordered the Italian hoagie via door dash and it was described with oil and vinegar but showed up with Mayo on it… very disappointed. The roll was good, the meat was fresh, but the mayo ruined it. ☹️

Where’s the cheese? Ordered a cheesesteak sandwich with peppers and provolone through DoorDash. Good bread, steak is tasty etc, but where’s the cheese? There’s was so little cheese in this sandwich that it could hardly be called a cheesesteak.Overall a good sandwich, freshly made, and delivered quickly, but I can’t hide my disappointment. I will probably order again and hope this was just a one off.
