Staff was nice, restaurant was cute but the rose coffee tasted weird and the breakfasts were all the frozen reheat in microwave type. Not my jam.

I'm always in for Philz to check out the hype, officially a fanboy and I'm hooked! This joint is super dope, yummy solid espresso, I am addicted to the Dark Roast Jacob's Wonderbar blend, phenomenal flavor and tones.. I'd even go to say one of the best I've had for sure. Best coffee in California, period.I also really dig the comfy, quirky, unique and chilled vibes and tones of this chain, it's really comforting, welcoming and a rad jam. The service is friendly and thet aste and flavor are on point.I've literally been in SF the past two days and already visited four individual Philz joints. Man this coffee joint is dope, I'm in love. Shut up and take my money! Gosh knows what goes into this, but you have to drink the hype trust me.

Have been a regular here for years, and the quality has noticeably gone downhill in the past few months.I am not paying 6$ for an awful Philz coffee ever again.

My order was delayed because of printer issues and they gave me large cup instead of medium that I paid. I appreciate the barista
Came in and paid with no line and no one waiting for order at 12:45 last Thursday. Got tea fairly quickly. Then waited at the counter for about 5 minutes before my friends walked in and the guy behind the counter stopped telling ghost stories to the other employees, and decided to put my sandwich in the oven. All 3 employees saw me standing there several times. Not once did they even acknowledge the wait. I think they were trying to make a point because I tipped 15% on a $12 order. The entitlement is too much for a counter order. ?
Funky pour over coffee place with a couple of indoor seats as well as a few outdoor spaces. Small selection of croissants and cookies. For me the cup sizes are way too large, but then again, I'm more of an espresso person.

This Philz was the only one open on a Sunday morning, so I headed over there before going to the Convention Center. It's about a 15 minute walk to Moscone, which was great. I had the mint coffee, classic style, and it was just as good as I remember it being. I also grabbed a breakfast burrito for breakfast and a Danish for later. Both were solid. This is at no fault of the cafe, and they tried to diffuse the situation as best that they could, but a homeless man did venture into the shop and start harassing patrons, especially those that did not respond to his requests for money. It's really sad to see this happening all over the city.

Loyal philz customer but this location sets a low bar unfortunately, came in and waited at the register for 10 minutes before being helped despite them looking to see that I was there several times. When they approached to finally take the order they just stared at me and didn’t even acknowledge the wait. 2 guys working behind the counter seemed to laugh at how long people were waiting for their drinks also. At $7 for coffee I expect more! Disappointed.
