The coffee itself is excellent. And these flavor combos are unexpected and memorable. I loved the coffee rose. The breakfast burritos are small but mighty. They pack a bomb of melded flavors. Friendly staff. This place brings in the crowds. Highly recommend.

Mint Mojito Iced Coffee tastes fantastic, and you’d give it a try.

Always great. Just be prepared to wait longer since they brew each cup fresh.
The people serving the coffee definitely have an attitude with certain people. Based on my personal experience and the overall rating I’d suggest going to another Philz. The quality of this one is to unpredictable.

I ordered a large Mocha Tesora and a warmed up Danish. Both the coffee and the Danish were barely warm. The person at the register was not friendly or welcoming.
Pre-Pandemic I loved Philz and couldn't wait for them to reopen. But since the reopen my experience there has just steadily gone downhill.
Good coffee and friendly service. Don’t come if you’re in a hurry.
More emblematic of Philz business model than this specific location, but the coffee takes a while to make given they primarily do pour overs. That said, I do feel like there is probably some room for efficiency improvements in terms of making multiple order simultaneously or having the cashier flex into a barista when things get backed up.
If you’re looking for a place to come and hang out for a while, then the speed won’t be an issue and it is clean with plenty of space to sit.

I've loved Philz since the first time I visited San Francisco. Super smooth coffee and really consistent, I recommend it to everyone visiting the city. Also a vegan breakfast sandwich which is always appreciated and surprisingly hard to find in this part of town.

My go to breakfast and coffee spot, but by god they need a different system for time estimation / orders or better coordination among the staff. Multiple times now that I’ve ordered my coffee for x time, received it 10 min later, and then just see my sandwich getting warmed up. I’m sorry to sound like a Karen over a 15 min delay, but if you’re going to put time estimations for people with early morning meetings, at least they need to be accurate!!

While waiting in line I was disgusted and in shock to see the person at the register wear the same latex gloves while handling the register (touching money), iPad and grabbing people’s food out of the oven (So so unsanitary) I will definitely not be going back to this Philz location. The person at the register was also really careless and getting the food out was more important than greeting the customer or at least letting them know he’ll be right with them. He also made a mistake of calling my drink out as cold when I specifically said “hot not cold” I had to wait a lot longer than I should have…terrible service.

This was at the beautiful Transbay Terminal in SF, and was my first time at a Philz. The entrance door's "Disabled" opening mechanism wasn't functioning, so I struggled with the heavy door. Just inside, an idle server watched me struggling, chuckled, and said the opener hasn't been working for awhile -- I guess that's cool with Philz. When I ordered coffee, he asked if I wanted milk and sugar, and I said yes. Down the bar, the cup of coffee showed up with the amount and kind of milk and sugar Philz must think is just right for every customer. I'll chalk these irritants up to my not knowing the culture here. After all, I was Fresh-Off-The-Bus from the East Bay.
Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance door's disabled openers weren't functioning, and an idle employee just watched customer struggling with the door, but didn't help.
