Nice atmosphere and professional service, but the food was too salty for my taste. Too bad as the dishes we tried (the fried Brussels sprouts, the ravioli stampati with black trumpet mushrooms, dolcelatte, and stinging nettle, and the tagliatelle with beef & pork bolognese) all had potential, but when you’re wishing for an alcoholic drink to get the food down, that is not good.

A Modern Italian-Californian wonderful find in the Dogpatch neighborhood! The place is a lot bigger and classier than expected from the outside. We sat at the chef's counter to see all the action and to see and smell all the delicious foods we didn't get the chance to order this time. Everything was amazing including the cocktails and wine selections. The Burrata salad to start was very delicious and they were even able to accommodate my allergy by leaving out one of the ingredients! The charred leaks pasta dish with dungeness crab was one of the best pasta dishes we've ever had and takes me back to Italy with how good the pasta was. The meat course with Duck breast was also amazing and we ate every last bit of vegetable, sauce, and garnish on the plate. And we couldn't resist dessert - the lemon pudding cake with mascarpone was a perfect sweet and to the meal. Definitely recommend and we'll have to come back next time to get the pizzas too!

Pretty good, def not $110 for valentines
The food was lacking any seasoning. I'm seeing that trend in some upscale restaurants and it's very disappointing. I would love to see Pacino get back to its unique.
Flavorful food.

Piccino in Dogpatch is a fantastic brunch spot! Found it on Eater SF’s best brunch list, and it absolutely lives up to the hype.
Went recently with a few friends and did it family style, trying a variety of dishes: Tuscan focaccia, beef short rib with sunnyside up egg, yellow corn polenta, fried Brussels sprouts with balsamic, pork & beef polpette, Dungeness crab scramble, and the salsiccia (garlic-pork sausage) pizza. Everything was flavorful and perfectly executed!
Quick tip: Don’t get tripped up like I did—the main entrance is off 22nd Street, not the coffee bar.
Piccino is officially on my go-to SF brunch spots list. Highly recommend!

I used to love eating at Piccino. Back when I lived in San Francisco, I went there all the time. I first started going when they were in their smaller space with just three tables. The pizzas and salads are always great, and they always have a good variety of appetizers. The atmosphere is fantastic too, with clean, modern decor that adds to the experience.

Piccino, a cozy Italian restaurant in the Dogpatch neighborhood is hands-down a favorite of ours.
The warm and inviting vibe makes it perfect for both family dinners and date nights.
There are a few signature dishes we can’t resist ordering whenever we bring friends here, and they never disappoint- The “salsiccia pizza,” with garlic pork sausage, red onion, mozzarella, and lemon zest, is always a winner. The “funghi pizza,” loaded with roasted mushrooms, stracchino, shaved garlic, and parsley, is another must-have.
The “sweet potato tortellini” hits that perfect sweet-and-savory balance, while the “endive salad” with fresh pear is light and refreshing.
As usual, we had a fantastic experience. This place is our go-to whenever friends are visiting, and it’s never let us down.

The staff is lovely and fantastic service. Restaurant vibe is very nice with open spacious interior.
We came here for brunch and was really disappointed. For the price, really average and extremely small portions. We ordered the endive salad, for $21, there were about 12 small leaves of endive with 8 thin slices of pear. $26 mushroom pizza was tasty but not anything special. The $30 short ribs was extremely small too about couple of tablespoons of meat (boneless), couple of pieces of Brussel sprouts and rest was polenta.

The food was excellent. The place gives off pretentious vibes but justified. We had their brunch and everything was delicious. The buratta was amazing.

Mushroom pizza was good. Service was lack of attention and will do take out in the future.
