Ordered the fisherman’s platter, it was alright. Nice seafood restaurant prices make sense for the location.

We had the Cajun fried salmon nuggets. They were fried perfectly, but way too salty. The fries were good and the chowder was decent.

The food was good, but there was a long wait time on a weekend. So be prepared to wait at least 30 mins. The service was pretty quick although the tables are pretty closely spaced in order to maximize seating. We ordered the shrimp combo fest and the stuffed salmon special of the day. Both tasted good.

.solid bowl of chowder. Ordered at the walk up counter and ate it while walkjg on the pier. Kept me warm on a cold afternoon.
I am going to try and be fair to this place because it is in a touristy area and you are paying a lot for the view. So the ambience is nice. We had a table overlooking the water. The service was good (not great, but good).
Of course the most important part is always the food, and I am sorry to say it was pretty terrible. My Jambalaya pasta had some kind of unidentifiable stringy thing in it that was revolting. My wife's linguini with clams was insipid, lacking in salt and almost inedible. Even the clams did not taste fresh.

We booked a table online, which was very easy and convenient. The food was delicious — we especially loved the Fisherman’s Platter, which we highly recommend. Absolutely yummy! 😋

Stopped in for lunch. We both had the clam chowder in a sourdough bread bowl and salad. The food and drinks were delicious, and the service was excellent.

This is a classic waterfront dining experience that actually delivers on the great seafood. We stopped by recently and leaned heavily into the seafood staples.
• Steamed Clams: A great way to start. They were fresh, clean, and served in a flavorful broth that practically begs for extra bread. They served with bread and butter on the side.
• Fresh Oysters: Briny and chilled to perfection. You can tell they take their raw bar seriously here.
• Blackened Rock Cod: This was the standout. The Cajun seasoning provided a nice kick without overpowering the delicate flavor of the fish. It was flaky, well-seared, and perfectly cooked.
Overall, the service was attentive and the atmosphere was lively. It’s a great spot to grab a table, enjoy the harbor views specially you can enjoy dining experience while viewing sea lions, and tuck into some quality West Coast seafood.

Loved our experience here. Not a cheap lunch but worth it. We sat at the bar, our server Rocio(?) was awesome. Food was well prepared and came out fast. Highly recommend.

Wife and I had a great brunch at this place. Oysters, shrimp, calamari, salmon, clam chowder fish and chips were all delicious. Great quick service, waitress was very nice and helpful. She brought me a taster of wine to make sure I liked it prior to ordering. Everything was Fresh and perfectly cooked, it was so good my wife came back for another clam chowder a few hours later.

Pier Market Seafood Restaurant is a great choice for classic San Francisco waterfront dining. I ordered the Cajun seafood, and it was delicious; well seasoned, flavorful, and served in a generous portion with crab, shrimp, and sides that paired perfectly with the spices. We visited during a non-peak hour and were able to walk in right away without any waitlist, which made the experience even better. The atmosphere is lively yet relaxed, and the waterfront views really add to the meal. Friendly service and a great location make this a spot I’d happily return to.
