This is not a well run business. The shave ice is fine, but it takes forever. More importantly, over the past several years, my family has tried to go to Pineapples at least five times, during hours that, according to multiple online sources, it should be open, but it has been open only once. For instance, the online sources state that it is supposed to be open today (Sunday, September 29, 2024), so my family and I tried once more. We got in the car, drove over at 1:30 PM, and were greeted with a closed store. We won't try again. This is business is unreliable, and has led to more disappointment than joy.

Serves Shaved Ice like if you're in Hawaii. Had the Hawaii Special and it was loaded with LiHing powder - so good. Wish they brought back the Dole Whip Floats !!

Friendly service. Shaved ice texture is good - no complaints. The syrups didn't quite do it for me though - something just didn't taste right (too artificial). Hard to complain about the price though.

Good and deserve a 4 star but only get 2 stars because they are always closed, even during their hours of business. Upsetting because I drive up from Pacifica to get my child a special treat to find them closed.
