When you see this place from the street it beckons you to come in for a slice, so much so that I've impulsively stopped here three times in the last two years when I wasn't even hungry. Then when you walk in, you think it's going to be amazing, because it has all the hallmarks of a classic pizza joint. The atmosphere is really just perfect for a slice shop.

The staff can be a little rough around the edges, which I'm okay with, as it seems more authentic, and they seem to have a good report with the regulars. I've been here twice during school lunch when they are inundated with students and they handle the rush incredibly well.

I really want this to be a place I seek out when I'm in the neighborhood, but unfortunately, the pizza is just terrible. I kept giving them another chance because I thought it had to be a fluke given the atmosphere and outrageous prices, but then I realized, they are surviving on their captive audience through the nearby high school, and the fact that there aren't many other options in the area.

I implore you to get a new recipe and make this place a beacon for slices. Test out other recipes, maybe take a trip to the highest rated pizza places in the Bay area and make some connections. There's so much information on Facebook and YouTube now (I'd recommend the Pizza Gavones free recipe), that you can make amazing pizza at home with no skills and a household oven. So, with an amazing spot and professional oven like you have, you have got to up your game!

Pizza was absolutely terrible. Barely Edible. Barely any sauce. And $6-$7 for a slice outrageous! Not worth 3-4. Guy at the counter wasn't friendly. I wouldn't suggest this place or wouldn't eat here ever again. Its like a step below Little

Why would I ever give you a painting for free, when you leave a bone in my sandwich?
Peace our boyscout. You lost a customer.

Honestly, the pizza was gross. $6.00 slice and it had to be the worst pizza I've ever had. It tastes just like the square school pizza. There was so much cheese on it but absolutely zero pizza sauce. Tastes like a big chewy piece of dough. 2 pieces for $12.00. I would have gone back and asked for my money back because I didn't even eat it and threw it in the trash except the girl at the counter seemed confused when I was asking questions about the menu and she didn't seem to understand anything I was saying.

Update: Thank you to the owner for your kind offer but as I threw the pizza away, I don't expect any compensation. However, the pizza was pepperoni, not cheese and it was very bad pizza so I just frankly will not be back. It's concerning to me that pizza that I paid $6 a slice was not good. I should not be led to believe that if I purchase a full pizza or I'm given a full pizza that it should somehow be better. The experience should be the same regardless of which pizza I order and whether by the slice or full pizza. Thank you

Everyone who works here is top notch. The food is exemplary and the service is awesome. I highly recommend this place. You won't regret it. I wish I could go back every day and try out everything on the menu!
Also, try their brownies.

Love the ambiance.. Went here for a quick bite.. I had the cheese pizza slice.. It was just mediocre..Their bread seemed powdery.. Not well cooked... A costco pizza slice is 100x better and more filling and cheaper that this one

Was riding bikes in San Francisco and was looking up a place to eat for lunch, found the pizza joint was not to far from us, it hit the spot for some tasty pastrami sandwiches.

The calzone I purchased was really good. Not too much dough and just the right amount of cheese. I just wish some marinara sauce came with the price of it. I spent an additional $4.00 for sauce. Smh!

Wow!! I just got back from my second visit here. Such a quirky pizza/sandwich joint. I love the decor but, the food is incredible. I have had the Italian sub twice and the dog walker one time and it’s beyond delicious. So happy to have had the opportunity to support this local buisness!

Fun, neat, warm and embracing. Wonderful gem of the neighborhood!

Vegetarian options: Veggie pizza’s!

Parking: Easy in/out

Kid-friendliness: Set up for high schoolers from Washington High but excellent hidden gem for singles and family after school hours!

I don't usually leave 4-star reviews, but I'm hoping to provide some earnest feedback because I actually love this place. It's our local spot and our go-to, but recently the quality has dipped a little. The base and crust are thicker/breadier than they used to be and the pizza I got tonight was a little under-done.Still a tasty enough pizza and I wouldn't want to discourage anyone from giving it a try. Just want to share that the slices used to be a little better when they were thinner because I'd love to see them get back to their original 5-star standard :)For reference, I got a medium pepperoni pizza. But the last time couple times we ordered a large and it was the same.

Pretty decent 2 topping XL pizza. Chocolate cake and greek salad were both good too. Pricing is a little too high compared to the nearby donairo's.

I was on a long run, was looking for pizza slice and came here as it was said to be open on Google Map, only to find a closed door and realized they fooled me with inaccurate information. Be aware and go
